Howdy
I have been interested in bikes for a long time but this is my first one. I just bought a 2005 Yamaha Warrior 1700. I look forward to tapping into the years of experience of people on this forum.

Re: Howdy

You will have quite the challenge on your hands with a Warrior 1700 as your first bike (did you dirt bike before or rode before?). To be honest, I had a Magna V4 as my first bike (it was much less of a bike that your 1700) and it was too much for me, in fact, I stopped riding for a few years due to a low speed spill with it... if I started on a 500cc or smaller then I would have rode those years... so becareful with the 1700.
Welcome to the world of riding and ask any questions you want, we are all here to help.

Re: Howdy
yeah, the 1700 is definitely ambitious, but take it easy and you'll do fine. My brother started with a Harley Davidson Dyna and he did just fine. It isn't recommended, but it can be done, just know your limits.
