Newly released (I had this bike up 2 months ago but it's finally made it to the Cool Wall), the 2015 Diavel is the first 2015 offering from Ducati. What do you think of it and the changes?

Yee Haw.....I am first up......

Voted Cool , down from an Awesome for the original Diavel.....new one , though supposedly improved in many small ways looks less good to my eye with new head light. Comfort improvements hopefully successfull, it really needed a better seat (and seems to have gotten one).

Wrote a review recently about the '13 I rode, LOVED it.......but bought something else.

I had to go uncool I really like ducati machines for the most part but not this bike I just don't like it it doesn't belong in the Ducati lineup IMO.

The heart says Awesome, the head says Fail...

This bike is sorta like that company that will 'name' a star after someone as a gift. It'll put a big smile on your face, but it's ultimately useless. Unless going around in circles at a track twenty minutes from home is your idea of fun. Anywhere else, riding this bike at better than 60% would be a jail-able offense and I'd say good riddance.

Without ANY ability to 'take it with you' on this, going any further than a day trip would be difficult. Maybe if you included a back pack you could possibility pull off an overnighter, but that's about it.

For all that though, it really IS wildly sexy. H.R. Giger couldn't have done a better job on the motor, and the way the tank flows into the saddle and the aggressive cut-out into the rear deck -- just art.

So okay Duc, I'm a sucker for a sharp, modern looking bike. You keep building tilt'a'whirls if you like, but make 'em look like this and I'll hand out a Cool. (-:

40 liters for the panniers isn't much. Maybe add an aftermarket top case or duffel bag. I guess a weekender is doable.


Anyway, as a fairly short guy, I appreciate the Diavel. I've heard the engine is awesome and the bike handles fairly well. The looks are growing on me. I've seen a few on the road, and they're quite attention getting. Still nowhere near what you'd call pretty, especially by Ducati standards. But it's cool enough for me.

Diavel would be a lot of fun to ride, would be hard on my insurance though. Diavel strada a little more equipped but not much. Definitely a cool.
