It's weird, I like it and I don't. Kind of a cartoon of what English people think a Yank rides. But they got that idea nailed down tight.

Obviously it doesn't appeal to some Americans, but probably will to many.

At least it is fairly naked which will make the maintenance and repairs easier than the Daytona. ( And I'm pretty sure there will be repairs)

But I'd give it a cool.

Gave it a solid cool bordering on Awesome. Reminds me a lot of both the CB750 and CM400 that I started off on. The CM was a parallel twin and CB was a much bigger inline four. This bike in many ways this bike looks a lot like but not completely identical to my old CB750. Plus I have had a chance to take a close look at one not long ago when I put my Trophy into the local Triumph dealers shop for spring maintenance, it is a very pretty bike and the styling cues are spot on, for instance, if you just glanced at the fuel injectors, you would of sworn they were carbs. This in my humble opinion is one tasty naked bike and I would not say no to owning one.

From time to time I go and look at the Triumph lineup and I like a lot of their motos. This one less than most but I admit that I am not a cruiser fan.

I voted Uncool

I just come out and say it rather than beat around the bush, I like the bike, but it's dated and pricey for being so. I know it wasn't long ago that Triumph updated the America, but I don't feel it's enough to really keep up with todays cruiser style trend. There isn't anything wrong with the classic design per-se, but there isn't anything that would really make it stand out. It's truly meh for me. Which is odd as I really liked the Speedmaster (the early 2000's version) and the America pulls a lot of styling cues from it.

NOTES: Vanilla ice cream. It's one of the hardest flavors to make well and while no one really hates it, it's not a #1 choice for many. Triumph's America is like that. But I'd like Triumph to add a little bit of sprinkles and some strawberry or chocolate sauce just to make it a little more interesting.
