@Buttrick Grabs Fourth in #Wyoming

Round six of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series kicked off in Upton, Wyoming over the weekend. The ten round series visited Wyoming, the furthest west the series travels. A drenching Saturday night rain left the course slick and very wet for the East Coast team of Jesse Groemm, Cory Buttrick, and Justin Sode.

Cory Buttrick got off to a great start with a 3rd overall in the first two tests setting himself up for a top five finish. Buttrick showcased the 430 RR again and continued to gel with the bike throughout the day as he ultimately finished 4th overall. Buttrick comments, "I felt like we got off to a good start in the first section only making a few mistakes and getting off track once. Section two started off the same way, very well, but very soon I encountered some technical problems where I just tried to finish the test. The rest of the day went fairly smooth, still dealing with some technical issues and one crash in the final test. All in all it was a good day, placing the highest I've finished thus far. Still not happy with the results but we are growing every day. I cannot wait to ride my Beta 430 RR at the next round in PA! There's nothing more that I want than getting my Beta on that box!"

Meanwhile, Jesse Groemm started the day off with getting lost in the first test but turned around his day putting in solid test times. "This was my first time racing in muddy conditions out west as I was expecting dust," said Groemm. "I had three top five section finishes but I really messed up the first section missing a turn and getting lost. I also ruined the last section by getting tangled up with lappers in the rocks. I feel like the speed is coming back; I just need to keep working for it and put a whole race together. I'd like to thank Tim Pilg, Beta USA, Fly Racing, Sidi Boots, Bell Motorcycle Superstore, and all my other great sponsors."

Groemm finishes 8th after getting lost in the first test.

New to the 430 RR, Justin Sode improved his results in Wyoming finishing a solid 16th. Sode reflects, "Wyoming started off great with a top 10 time in test 1! I continued to pull solid times on my 430 RR. In the last test of the day I had a few problems losing valuable time and positions. I look forward to next race and hopefully getting more time on the bike."

Next, the East Coast team heads to Snowshoe, West Virginia for Round 9 of the GNCC Series.
