@Nagl out of GP of #Germany with ankle injury

@Husqvarna Motorcycles regrets to announce that Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Max Nagl wil not start the MXGP of Germany – round 10 of the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship at Teutschenthal.

During Saturday’s MXGP qualifying race Nagl made contact with another rider soon after the start, crashing as a result. At this point Max was hit in the ankle. Knowing something wasn’t as it should be with his left ankle he imediately rode back to the pit area, taking no further part in the race.

X-rays at the track confirmed a fracture to his ankle, with Max taken imediately to Halle Hospital where he underwent minor surgery. As a result of his injury and subsequent surgery Max will take no further part in the MXGP of Germany.

Max will undergo further investigations in Belgium on Monday to determine an exact recovery time.

Further information will be released at a later date.
