Nice Yamaha! Now North Americans have to BUY The stunkin thing so it encourages manufacturers to bring more bikes like this out.

Just curious - What is it you like so much about the MT-03?

I think that I actually would prefer the MT-03 myself as well. The MT-01 is the Yamaha version of a Buell IMO, and I really think that outta the two I would take the Buell. The MT-03 just looks like it would be a hoot around town. Both would sell like turds in North America however.....

I was just wondering about the Guy considering two 600cc race reps and the New Triumph 675 ... why would he like the MT-03 so much...

I can't see it. I'd rather have the FZ1 or Suzuki SV1000, or a bunch of others. While the MT is new, different, and a step in a different direction for Yamaha, previous press pieces on it say s-l-o-w. Sort of like having an 18-wheeler with a 200 hp engine. But y'all enjoy, now. It is also too expensive, failing the cost/benefit test.
