2007 Suzuki SV650 mockup

#1 Unread post by totalmotorcycle »

Robert Monroe found this for us from Raptors and Rockets of the 2007 Suzuki SV650. While we believe this image to be a photoshoped image (not from Suzuki Media) it is a good idea of what the 2007 Suzuki SV650 might look like.

R&R: Due to tighter and tighter emission regulations it is believed Suzuki will make quite a few changes to their SV range next year to conform to Euro 3. What do you say about a V-twin with GSX-R style exhaust and fresher more modern design? Well, here is how we think it will look like. Pic: Luc1

I like it. It has a meaner stance to it.

Whats with Suziki and this new stubby exhaust style?

The new stubby exhaust is from the GSXR 1000 models and for that bike it was designed for: 1. Weight savings, 2. Increase in Horsepower and 3. Aerodynamics.

But remember this is just a mockup of the bike, it may not look like this at all, but I thought I'd post it anyways for everyones enjoyment. :D

For some reference here is the 2006 Suzuki SV650S model:

Looking at both images I just think the exhaust pipe looks way out of place. I think the bike looks much cleaner with the undercarriage exhaust.

If this is the new SV650, I'll wait to buy mine. If they bring back the naked SV1000 to the USA, I'll be really happy.

Just sell the fairing on ebay?

btw, nice mockup picture. I'll take mine in black ;)
I'd really like it is Suzuki changed their headlight design though.. I don't care for it.

looks like they are going to the angular style headlight that first appeared on the MV augusta brutale and has become the latest fashion trend for naked bikes. There will be 5 different models of bike running around with that headlight style this year the 599, the unfaired FZ6, the unfaired FZ1, the MT-01 and MT-03 will all be wearing that angular style headlight for '06

Nice lookin bike ... I've got my cruiser... but this would be great to have too.... I did'nt want to be one of those guys who are always buying bikes, or owning too many, but some of these (including the Wee-Strom for me) have got me thinkin.... now lets see.... I'll park the car on the driveway and then keep the bikes in the garage....
