Sportbike Temprature question?
Hi
At what temprature the bike is ready to be ridden. Usualy i start my bike and after one minute of the bike heating up i take off.
But can someone give me an actual temprature i should wait my temp sensor indicates before riding my bike?
Thanks!

What I usually do, is put all my gear on, back it out of the garage, and while I'm backing up, I fire it up. So I'm about 1/2 way out of the garage (with the choke on.) I then swing it around in a 1/2 circle so I'm pointing across the driveway, put the kickstand down, hop off, run inside and close the garage door, then run under the closing garage door. Get back tot eh bike, turn off the choke and go.
Sum total, takes about 1.5 minutes estimated.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Depends on which bike Im riding... on my GV250, if it is cold, just choke for 5 seconds until it idles, do my light checks for my blinkers and brake lights, and take it easy for about 2-5 minutes.
For my KZ650, choke, idle with choke for a couple minutes, turn off choke, the bike most likely dies... re-start bike with choke, and wait patiently. I <3 UJMs. In reality though, it does take about 3-4 minutes to get that bike warmed up.

on my ex500....i usually leave it on for 5 minutes before i get on it....sometime longer (if it's night and it's cold)...
i've tried just leaving it on and riding, but it just turns off when i'm riding so i don't do that anymore.
