I'm in the one the DieMonkeys created everyday for most of the daytime hours. There are actually 5 people signed in now! w00t!

It is mostly quiet but me and DieMonkeys and Truck have had a few good conversations in the last week.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

I don't think we really need a chat room. For those of us who want to talk on a more personal level, a lot of us provide instant messenger contact info.

Sorry for not replying sooner I just saw this thread.

Yes we did have a chat room (phpMyChat) for 2 years and I just took it down last month as my host let me know that phpMyChat had some exploitable vulnerabilities and I should take it down.

Not many people were chatting in there as I did check often. In fact I've only chatted in that chat room with someone actually there a few times!

The advantage of phpMyChat was you could use your same membername and password to login and chat.

I use phpMyChat on my forums. Members were constantly asking for a chatroom. In the end no one uses it.

That is exactly what happend here. Sure we have thousands of members but just TRY to get a dozen at the same time in the same chatroom! :frusty:
