LOL!! I try to keep the posts as friendly as possible, thus curse filter... :D

You can always recommend a different word if you like to substitute. :cowboy:

I don't care about the filter, I care about correct punctuation.

Awesome vote for Grammer and syntax

It gives you an extra contact patch...a bit more stable than the average scooter, especially scooters with short wheelbases. That third wheel makes the whole ride very forgiving of stupid mistakes...if you're leaned over in a curve and try to brake, you can brake. It's not going to slide out from under you.

At higher speeds, it's like riding on rails, very comfortable and you can feel it planted firmly underneath...where you might feel a scooter with 2 wheels or smaller wheels start to slip, the MP3 just hugs the road.

I voted: COOL.

It's a strange beast and I had to think about what I was going to vote before I put my X by the box. Cool is definately the word for it, it's so unusual, so unique and interesting, it has to be cool. I would have voted awsome but it's a little too unique to be that IMO, but what a concept!

I haven't seen too many around other than in showrooms but I bet if you pulled up in a MP3 you'd get some people asking questions in a hurry!!

Glad to put this on up, it seems to have generated quite the discussion on the Cool Wall!

My vote: Fail

What's the point of owning a scooter that lacks the major benefits of 2 wheels - slim enough to park anywhere and to filter in traffic.

I've read a lot of the posts here and I understand that the third wheel helps improve the ride but I'm still not convinced. If you want a MP3, why not go for a Spyder? You vote awesome on the MP3 but fail on the Spyder??? I don't get it.

Great points. One thing to consider though, the mp3 is narrower (30.5 inches wide) than my V-strom (33 inches wide) which is still slim enough to park anywhere and filter in traffic. Having the suspension locked on the mp3 means that no one can knock it down, it can park at weird angles and even allows people with disabilities to get around like a hooligan.

The spyder on the other hand is 59.3 wide (~1.5 m) precluding it from lane splitting, doesn't lean, and more closely approximates riding a seadoo or a snowmobile than it does a motorcycle. While I think it's neat, it is nowhere near a motorcycle substitute.

I'm gonna go with Uncool, 'cause it's UGLY.

(I'm not being unfair, I said the same thing about my V-strom! )

Also 'cause it sounds like an electric fan. (Guy around here has one and I heard it.) No bike should sound like an electric fan, not even a scooter.

Gotta admit, the engineering of the front end is kind of cool though. :humm:

Ok, it's not any wider than most bikes are at the handlebars. You can park anywhere a bike can, and you can filter. So where's the fail...?

Fail? Pffft.

LOL, way to stir up the pot! haha.

Seriously, that's a great different opinion! There is nothing wrong with voting Fail or Awesome as it sure makes the Cool Wall debate interesting!
