The change in temperature really caught me out today. When I left for work it was overcast & cool. At 4pm when I stepped outside for some "fresh air" I was wearing my bike waterproof. When I came in 10 mins later I was drenched in sweat!

Supposed to be scorchio tomorrow :sun: & I am planning to ride out to Beaulieu for a motorcycle day at the Motor Museum.

So only question is..... Should I risk jeans + textile jacket to be cool or stick to leathers & look cool?

yesterday, Saturday, I took my Tmax for a long trip to a gun show to purchace some ammo, bought a whole wooden crate of 1200 rounds, but the crate was too big to fit in either my backcase or under my seat, so I just removed it from the crate and it all fit and gave the empty crate to another fellow gun freak, ahhhh gun show people! my kind of people! I feel safe and secure with those guys. It did rain but with the protection on my Tmax only my hands got wet and the tires gave me excellent traction on the wet roads and I measured my gas mileage got 56 MPG on a trip, normally I get between 44-47 MPG!

We went for a great ride around central and northern London on Sunday when it was freakin hot. Came home and had Pimm's on the patio. Today was hot again but alas I was at work in an air conditioned building so it wasn't too bad. Came home to a house like a hot box. Sleeping tonight is going to be interesting!!!

Yes, we had a GREAT weekend of heat wave weather. Today though, not so nice, as it's back to raining again. :(
