Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
If you listen to music while you ride, do you prefer to have a sound system mounted on the bike, or do you prefer a system added to the helmet?

Re: Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
I do, and I use a Scala rider Q2 to do it. I do want to upgrade to the pro though, so I can stream music via Bluetooth.

I do but only under certain circumstances. My Scala Q@ has FM radio, keeps me up to date with traffic reports.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I use the Sena SMH-10. Love the bluetooth and the quick ability to pair with another rider when cruising through DC Metro area traffic.

Re: Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
I use a SENA SMH10 mostly as an intercom, but I've tried playing songs from a paired iPhone on freeway rides. The speaker quality isn't that great, so it usually isn't worth the bother.

Really? I've been using mine nonstop for two years with no problems at speeds up to 90mph (tend not to go higher than 10 mph over on public roads). Of course I have a full face on a faired bike (V-Strom). I know a few guys that prefer the earbud mount for 3/4, 1/2 helmets or unfaired bikes.

Re: Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
Hmmm, I use a Nolan N43 (a relatively noisy helmet) with earplugs, on a naked bike. Volume isn't a problem; I can hear the music fine. I guess it's more sound quality; the earplugs muffle (I assume) mid to low frequencies, so music doesn't sound as good, compared to a spoken voice.

Re: Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
My exo 500 is a bit noisy too. If I'm on the interstate for more than 20 minutes or so, I'll put in earplugs. I've found I can still hear the music or carry on a phone conversation decently under 90. Keep in mind I've removed the windshield from my bike so it's effectively a naked bike wind wise.

Re: Just wondering--Do you listen to music while you ride?
I just bought a Cardo Scala rider in this site http://4wheelonline.com/motorcycle/Card ... ios.141591. I find it safer and more practically. By the way I bought the Q3 multiset.
