UPDATE: So it appears from the Patent, the Street Glide isn't cooled then? As it looks like it needs the plastic shrouds which contain the radiators like the Electra Glides...? Can that be?

After perusing the HD website, I finally found the answer buried deep within all the videos and pop-up menus of the Project Rushmore section; the only bikes that get the Twin-Cooled motor are the stock and CVO versions of the Electra-Glide Ultra Classic, Ultra Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra. Good catch, Mr High Side!
It seems the focus of the "select" bikes is more on the new options rather than the new motors. One tidbit I missed in all the hype was the introduction of the electronically linked "Reflex ABS" brakes on 5 of the models.

Thanks for doing that research last night. So that's quite interesting then, as the Street Glide (obviously) is using the High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine, but then if it's not liquid cooled, still gains the roughly 10% more torque vs the standard 103 engine. This is something that doesn't make sense (to me) as H-D would not have needed to liquid cool any of the engines at all to get the same torque OR would have put the +10% non-liquid cooled engines into their entire line up as it didn't need "anything else"?

Happen to know if "Reflex ABS" lets you use the rear brake on its own? I've got linked brakes, but I can use my rear brake on its own (pretty useful for slow speed maneuvering). It took me a while, but I found this item in a review posted on the Overdrive website; "The system connects the brakes between 32 and 40kmph. Lower speeds or higher speeds allow the brakes to be operated independent of each other". I've never owned a bike with ABS (but have ridden a few) and while I do like the idea behind it, I'm not sure if linked brakes are a good idea at any speed. in fact, on a sidecar equipped motorcycle they would actually be more of a danger than a help in certain situations.

I'm with you guys, I like abs but am not a fan of linked brakes by any means.

I might have a chance to see a new 2014 H-D 103 high output tourer in the "flesh" this week from a local dealer. If I do, I'll ask them about the cooling on this model.

Yeah- how the cooling works on which models is still a mystery for me. I give it a cool for the updates but the styling is still dated.

I vote "cool". I've never ridden one of the big Harleys, but long rides on my Sportster leave me numb in the nether regions, and that one looks very comfy.
