Motorcycles and Traffic Lights

#1 Unread post by Joe Rocket=> »

I found a company out there called signal sorcerer and they have these little inductive strips that you put on the bottom of your bike. They say that it is suppose to increase your bikes inductance, causing the signal to change. I was just wondering if anybody uses these or know anybody that has used these before and do they work.

I think products like those are a waste of money.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

One good thing about living in northeast. Always got those timed lights, so no need for those gadgets.

All lights around here are sensor lights. Ive never had a problem setting them off either.

I don't understand how this could be a problem. From time to time I run across a light that won't detect me, so I do the same thing I used to do on my bicycle. I put the kickstand down. If it works on a trek, it should work on anything...

I do have a problem with not setting off the light sensors. I have had to wait for a cage to set it off a couple of times, and had to step off my bike and push the lil button once

I just take a right if the light won't change. Then flip a u-turn or make a left somewhere else to get where I need to go.

I just think that it really sucks when your at a busy 4 way intersection and your the only one in the turning lane and can't get an arrow.

I have the problem here in Ohio. Some won't change with the kick stand trick, the stopping and starting engine trick, or the aligning yourself with the lines trick. I'm always ready to turn right, or try to move up with other traffic. It does annoy me when I can see I'm coming to one and I wonder if I should alter my directional plans.
