MUCH MORE THAN REPARTO CORSE.

2019 MV Agusta F3 800 RC:

This is the added value of Reparto Corse (Racing Department) that works tirelessly to eliminate a few hundredths of a second on a race track. This passion is infused into every 800 RC.

Asphalt, curbing and gravel traps. Braking, accelerating and braking again. Straights, chicanes. Curves. Grandstands and pits. MV Agusta was born on the track. Its story has been inscribed on most famous racing tracks in the World, since the dawn of the most glorious motorcycle brand in the history of motorcycling.

RC doesn’t simply mean Reparto Corse. RC means extreme attention to technical development, both in terms of design and function. It means direct connection to the riders, achieving perfection from track to track. RC also means attention to detail, because under race conditions each component is crucial and decisive. RC stands for absolute performance: a way of thinking known only by those who live to race. RC is the direct descendant of the racing experience brought to the road, crafted for the most demanding riders.

F3 675 RC and F3 800 RC have the same livery that enhances the sleek lines and extraordinary compactness of a model born to provide the best on the track, in the race or on the fiercest of track days. Each limited edition F3 RC unit comes with a dedicated race kit that includes the titanium exhaust with SC-Project silencer, pipes and joints, the carbon fibre heel guard and aluminium mounting brackets. The dedicated electronic control unit is included in the kit along with the CNC machined brake and clutch levers in ergal, a sprocket to achieve maximum acceleration, a rear wheel stand and a bike cover. Each unit comes with a certificate of authenticity.

MV Agusta 2019 RC Model Range

RC, as in ‘Reparto Corse’ (Racing Department), the place where the MV Agusta machines destined for racing are born. At the core of the RC range is one of the keystones of the MV Agusta philosophy: the belief that races are fundamental for improving factory production bikes. This is why the technological transfer from the track to the assembly line is as direct and as quick as possible. The RC range models include the sport naked Brutale and Dragster models, the eclectic Turismo Veloce, the F3 675 and F3 800 supersport bikes, and naturally, the exuberant F4.

After the extensive technical updates in 2018, particularly on the three-cylinder bikes, the 2019 RC machines confirm their extremely high-level of technical content.

F4 RC legendary project is at its evolutionary peak. Included with the F4 RC is a dedicated racing kit, including an electronic control unit with specific mapping and a titanium SC-Project single exit exhaust. These components allow the maximum power of the short-stroke four-cylinder engine to be increased (bore 79 mm – stroke 50.9 mm) with central timing chain and radial valve configuration from 205 hp to 212 hp. The technical features, which include Öhlins fork and shock absorber as well as advanced engine and vehicle management software, make the F4 RC bike the closest version to the one which raced in the World Superbike Championship. The 2019 colour scheme is entirely new, centred around a large black central area that shows the exposed carbon fibre on the fairing. Wheels, fuel tank and tail fairing favour red, with white and green areas which are proudly reminiscent of Italian craftsmanship.

Dragster 800 RC best interprets the “drag racing” vocation that has made it famous. Thanks to its weight of just 160 kg, its 150 horses and highly effective chassis architecture, the Dragster 800 RC is a pure sport bike which finds its most fascinating side in the accessories package put together by the racing department. The spoked wheels in the standard package move over to make room for the highly popular nine-spoke design in lightweight forged alloy with an unmistakeable racing style. The technical sponsor logos decorate the essential fairing of the Dragster 800, along with the number 37 – the number of world titles won by MV Agusta.

Brutale 800 RC is an uncompromising bike, reminiscent of the most sensational and aggressive versions of the four-cylinder Brutale, a model that revolutionised the design of the middle-weight segment, also focusing on extreme performance. Its carbon fibre components stand out, including the front fender, the rear inner fender, the fuel tank side panels and the instrument cluster cover. The forged alloy wheels have a strong impact, unmistakeably red, to complete the racing colour scheme common to the RC range and made even more attractive by the technical sponsor logos

Turismo Veloce RC emphasises the sport DNA of a model that stands out for its conceptual originality in the touring bike segment. Its extreme versatility stems from unique and specific technical choices like the compact and relatively small displacement engine, the vehicle’s consequent light weight and the agile dimensions of the chassis architecture. All in a segment characterised by increasingly heavy and bulky bikes. Naturally, the Turismo Veloce RC is equipped with SCS technology. The abbreviation stands for “Smart Clutch System” and identifies the solution developed exclusively by MV Agusta for fully automatic clutch management. The Smart Clutch System lets you choose from two possibilities: operate the clutch manually using the clutch lever, or leave operation entirely up to the system, so you can focus exclusively on the ride.
