Missing the days of those beautiful and unique Victory Motorcycle cruiser factory custom paint jobs? Longing for Indian to offer “Kawasaki Vulcan” inspiration on the Indian Challenger, Chieftain, Pursuit, Roadmaster platform? The new owners of Indian Motorcycle and CEO Mike Kennedy hears you! He is here is lay down the lox (the company also owns Pops Bagels LA and It’s Bagels so pardon the pun). Introducing the new Indian Motorcycle Signature Series of motorcycles… 2027 Indian Challenger Signature Series, 2027 Indian Chieftain Powerplus Signature Series, 2027 Indian Pursuit Signature Series and 2027 Indian Roadmaster Powerplus Signature Series. They are Ultra Exclusive & Extremely Limited. So exclusive and limited information is hard to get on these other than they are special unique paint jobs and the bikes will cost you more… how much more? Even we don’t know! Prices are only by contact interest form and exclusive can mean anything, after all some regular production motorcycle models only sell in the hundreds each year anyways. Unfortunately our Indian Motorcycle reps did not get back to us after 4 days of waiting for a reply with further information either at time of writing. Hopefully the press team wasn’t impacted with the company takeover, lots of great people over there.
But I have listed absolutely as much information as I could get my hands on for each model. Speaking of models, I’m not even sure these should be listed as separate models based on a paint job and maybe some different accessories.
I did hear a rumor, that these paint jobs were done by Gun Slinger in Colorado. That would be the same place that paints CVO Harley-Davidson’s motorbikes. Also these are NOT decals, it’s paint underneath the clearcoat. That’s really nice to see that touch.
In the end, I do miss Victory Motorcycle paintwork myself, it was incredibly beautiful and unique. I’ll add some photos below from around 15 years ago on Total Motorcycle to remind you of what Victory paint jobs looked like back then. I love creative paint on a motorcycle as motorcycles are all about expression on 2-wheels. If Indian Motorcycle can bring this back to the market I’m all in, just don’t hose the buyers into buying something that just has a different paint job for x2 the price please.
You can also see Victory right here too for the entire lineup from start to end.
And the 2026 and 2027 Indian Motorcycle Model Guides are here too for you.
UPDATE
Great news, I heard back from Indian Motorcycle and have more information for you all!
Including Chieftain PowerPlus, Roadmaster PowerPlus, Indian Challenger and Indian Pursuit, the Signature Series is defined by a painstaking multi-layer paint process, delivering exceptional depth, clarity, and contrast across every surface. Each finish accentuates the motorcycle’s lines and proportions while revealing new details from every angle. Extensive hand-detailing and rigorous quality control measures are applied throughout production, ensuring every motorcycle meets the collection’s exacting standards. Produced in limited numbers, the Signature Series represents a refined expression of craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail.
While the two bagger models feature a dark, aggressive paint scheme, the touring models pay homage to America’s 250th Anniversary with a patriotic red, white, and blue aesthetic. The Signature Series paint process creates depth that shifts with the light and movement and reveals itself from every angle. Each finish is carefully crafted to deliver a presence that stands out from the crowd. More than a color treatment, every layer is intentionally applied to give each motorcycle a distinctive identity – reflecting the artistry, precision, and attention to detail that have defined Indian Motorcycle for 125 years.
“Since 1901, Indian Motorcycle has pursued the ultimate intersection of form and function – motorcycles that are as beautiful in design as they are sophisticated in performance,” said Mike Kennedy, CEO of Indian Motorcycle. “Signature Series embodies that mindset with every surface, every line, and every layer approached with a spirit of artistry. Our paint process was central to that vision, giving each machine its own unmistakable identity. These motorcycles make a bold visual statement about our commitment to American craftsmanship.”
Chieftain PowerPlus Signature Series
Starting at $40,999 (MSRP, not including freight and prep), the Chieftain PowerPlus Signature Series features a distinctive paint scheme, with Abyss Metallic and Venom Green with Cypher Green accents over Gauge Gray. The Abyss Metallic paint forms a deep, shadowed foundation, cut through with Venom Green and Cypher Green accents that create a sense of motion, even at a standstill.
Indian Challenger Signature Series
The Indian Challenger Signature Series is designed to make an impression whether in motion or standing still. Starting at $40,999 (MSRP, not including freight and prep), the Indian Challenger Signature Series’ Abyss Metallic paint establishes a deep, blacked-out foundation.
It’s complemented by Machined Silver and Red Alert accents over Gauge Gray that add sharp contrast and definition.
Roadmaster PowerPlus Signature Series
The Roadmaster PowerPlus Signature Series defines American touring at its most refined. Paying homage to America’s 250th Anniversary, Roadmaster PowerPlus Signature Series features a timeless Frontier Pearl finish that’s elevated with Vigilant Blue and Revere Red accents, creating a look rooted in heritage yet crafted with modern precision. Roadmaster PowerPlus Signature Series starts at $46,749 (MSRP, not including freight and prep).
Indian Pursuit Signature Series
Reflecting the enduring excellence of American craftsmanship, the Indian Pursuit Signature Series bridges heritage and modern performance as a tribute to America’s 250th Anniversary. Starting at $46,749 (MSRP, not including freight and prep), the model features a Frontier Pearl paint with Revere Red and Vigilant Blue accents. The finished piece evokes a legacy of strength, independence, and precision.
While the Signature Series paint and hand-crafted details command attention, the foundation of each machine remains its performance, capability and unmistakable character on the road. At the heart of each model is Indian Motorcycle’s PowerPlus engine. The PowerPlus 112’s contemporary, high-revving design combines liquid cooling, overhead cams, and four valves per cylinder to maximize both horsepower and torque. The result is strong, responsive performance across the entire powerband, delivering effortless acceleration and confidence-inspiring passing power at any speed.
In addition, the Signature Series combines class-leading performance with advanced rider-focused technology designed to enhance confidence, comfort, and convenience on every ride. Standard on models powered by the PowerPlus 112 engine, Indian Motorcycle’s Rider Assist suite integrates Bike Hold Control, Electronic Combined Braking, Blind Spot Warning, Tailgate Warning, and Rear Collision Warning with the brand’s SmartLean Technology to improve rider awareness and control. The lineup also features a 7-inch Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND®, offering GPS navigation, Bluetooth® connectivity, bike information, and access to RIDE COMMAND+ services such as Bike Locator, Bike Health, and Apple CarPlay®. Complementing the riding experience, the premium PowerBand Audio system delivers immersive, high-quality sound engineered to cut through road, wind, and engine noise. Each bagger model features an upgraded 400-watt audio system, while the touring models offer an upgraded 600-watt audio system, providing high-quality, crystal-clear sound.
A host of color-matched comfort, style, and performance accessories are available to further enhance and empower personalization. The Signature Series will begin shipping to dealerships at launch.
Signature Series motorcycles are not built to blend in. They are built to stand apart.
Created during our 125th anniversary year and produced in extremely limited numbers, each Indian Motorcycle Signature Series bike represents a relentless pursuit of craftsmanship. Not faster. Better. Every surface, every line, every layer approached with the belief that true artistry is found in the details.
