“A sure sign of professionalism and responsible journalism is the ability to hold ourselves accountable. When we commit errors, we must correct them, and our apologies should be as loud and as prominent as our initial trumpets.” – Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics
Corrections Policy
Our commitment to accuracy, transparency, and accountability
Why Corrections Matter
At Total Motorcycle, accuracy is the foundation of trust. When errors occur, we correct them quickly and transparently to maintain reader confidence.
How We Handle Errors
- Minor Fixes: Typos, formatting, and small clarifications are corrected silently.
- Substantive Errors: Incorrect facts, figures, or statements are corrected with a visible note at the top or bottom of the article.
- Updates: When new information significantly changes a story, we add an “Update” notice with the date and details.
Reader Feedback
We welcome readers to report potential errors or suggest clarifications. Please contact us via our Contact Page with details, and our editorial team will review promptly.
Accountability
Corrections are logged and reviewed by our editorial team to ensure consistency. We are accountable to our readers first, not advertisers or manufacturers.
