This DOHC 4-stroke engine boasts a strong low- and mid-range, with exhilarating top-end pulling power. Power delivery is smooth and throttle response is crisp throughout the rpm range making this the ideal machine for a variety of riding situations. For added comfort especially in heavy traffic, the innovative radiator fan directs hot air down and away from the rider, improving rider comfort. The caster angle (26.7°) and short wheelbase contribute to quick handling, while the high rigidity of the frame ensures straight-line stability. Long-travel suspension is trail-tuned and offers 10 in of travel up front and 9.1 in in the rear. The 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork has adjustable compression damping to optimize fork performance for conditions and personal preference. The Uni-Trak rear suspension offers bump absorption, compression and rebound damping adjustability, and fully adjustable preload, allowing riders to tailor shock settings to personal preference. Substantial braking power comes from a powerful 250mm petal disc and twin-piston caliper up front and a 240mm petal disc and single-piston caliper in the rear. Compact Liquid-Cooled Engine
• 292cc displacement is 17% more than typical 250cc class models for more power while maintaining the light weight and nimble feel of a 250.
• Flat top piston with pentroof combustion chamber delivers 11.1:1 compression ratio.
