Fully adjustable long travel KYB front forks
The Ténéré 700 Rally features high end, fully-adjustable 43mm KYB front forks. With strengthened tubes and a special coating to reduce stiction, the fork stroke is increased by 20mm over the standard Ténéré 700, to give a front wheel travel of 230mm and a massive 255mm of ground clearance.
Rear shock with increased stroke and full adjustability
Designed to work in perfect harmony with the front forks, the Ténéré 700 Rally’s rear suspension unit is engineered to excel in the harshest conditions. Offering 220mm of wheel travel, 20mm more than the standard Ténéré 700, it features a completely redesigned rear linkage and
shock absorber. A large bump stop is used to handle rough terrain, while the unit features a piggyback reservoir with aluminium body to keep internal oil temperature down for consistent damping in all conditions. As you would expect, it is fully adjustable, with a hand adjuster allowing preload to be changed without any tools.
Exclusive heritage Looks
Celebrating the storied history of the Ténéré, the Ténéré 700 Rally pays homage to the past with a stunning 80s heritage livery, complemented by gold coloured spoke wheels and Yamaha’s iconic speedblock design. High level rally front fender
Completing the distinctive Ténéré look is the iconic high level front fender. Colour matched and designed to be practical as well as beautiful, the higher fender reduces mud splatter in sloppy conditions and eliminates the risk of mud clogging between the tyre and guard.
Dedicated one-piece rally seat
Unique to this model, the dedicated one piece rally seat o ers a slightly higher and more upright riding position than the saddle found on the standard Ténéré 700. Additional padding combines with the taller suspension to give a commanding 910mm seat height, 35mm higher than standard, with the premium dual material cover coming embossed with a Rally logo. The saddle is shaped to o er greater off-road control while standing, while also
increasing comfort in the seated position.
Off-road focused ergonomics
The Ténéré 700 Rally has been carefully updated to offer an even greater sense of unity between rider and machine. The new fuel tank has been moved forward and the fuel cap sits lower for improved weight distribution, while the shape is narrower to offer improved knee grip for maximum control on all kinds of surfaces. This is complemented by the at rally seat which is narrow and makes it easy to shift your weight around when riding o road.
