The Ninja 1100SX ABS blends sport performance and Ninja styling with touring capability and a relaxed riding position. Its 1,099cc four-stroke in-line four-cylinder engine delivers strong midrange and top-end performance. An advanced electronics package includes Power Mode Selection, Integrated Riding Modes, KQS, KTRC, Electronic Cruise Control, KCMF and KIBS. A 4.3-inch TFT color instrument panel offers multiple display modes, with smartphone connectivity through RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE*. The Ninja 1100SX SE ABS adds Brembo M4.32 front brake calipers, a Brembo master cylinder and brake discs, steel-braided brake lines, an Öhlins S46 rear shock and grip heaters.

The Ninja® 1100SX ABS motorcycle is the sport tourer for the sportbike enthusiast.

ASSIST & SLIPPER
The Assist & Slipper Clutch offers light clutch pull and helps smooth out engine performance and improve overall riding comfort. This race-inspired clutch technology works by limiting back torque to minimize rear-wheel chatter caused by excessive engine braking due to quick downshifting. Less rear-tire hopping during aggressive downshifts amounts to superior control and smoother sport performance.
RIGID & BALANCED
The highly rigid aluminum twin-tube frame is constructed to prioritize mass centralization for a strong chassis platform. The fine-tuned design ensures that firm comfort and stability are strategically balanced with light, agile handling for a premium sport-touring experience.
TUNED FOR DISTANCE
Whether you’re looking for sporty riding or comfortable touring, the Ninja® 1100SX ABS motorcycle’s suspension is fine-tuned to make the most of sport touring. The 41mm inverted front fork features adjustable compression and rebound damping, and spring preload adjustability for a wide range of versatility. The horizontal back-link rear suspension features rebound and preload adjustability, with a remote preload adjuster facilitating quick and convenient setting changes (without tools) to suit tandem riding, luggage, or rider preference.
EXCEPTIONAL STOPPING POWER
The Ninja® 1100SX ABS brakes feature monobloc front brake calipers that offer a firm initial touch, a level of brake force that is very easy to control, and superb overall brake performance. The rear brake disc is a large diameter (260 mm) that contributes to exceptional stopping power.
CONFIDENT GRIP
Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tires provide ideal grip in dry and wet conditions for a smooth ride and confident control.
NEXT-LEVEL TECHNOLOGY
Key enhancements bring Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) WorldSBK championship-proven electronics management technology to the Ninja® 1100SX ABS. This results in precise chassis orientation awareness that helps the rider adapt to a range of typical riding conditions and scenarios.
KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER
The dual-direction Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) functions from a low minimum rpm for smooth shifting performance at lower speeds and higher-revving action. This technology allows both clutchless upshifts and downshifts for seamless acceleration and smooth deceleration.
DATA-DRIVEN PERFORMANCE
A compact Bosch IMU enables inertia along 6 Degrees of Freedom to be monitored: acceleration along longitudinal, transverse, and vertical axes plus roll rate and pitch rate. The 6th degree—yaw rate—is calculated by the ECU, and together with input from the IMU, chassis orientation information is fed to Kawasaki’s proprietary dynamic modeling software. This technology, developed for the WorldSBK Championship-winning Kawasaki Racing Team, has evolved into several rider aids fine-tuned to enhance Ninja® sport-touring performance.
ACCELERATION & STABILITY
The IMU-enhanced feedback version of Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) predicts conditions and acts before slippage exceeds the range for optimal traction. Riders can choose from 3 modes of KTRC. Mode 1 is least intrusive and Mode 3 offers the greatest level of control, ideal for wet conditions or challenging road surfaces. Riders can also turn the KTRC system off.
A MODE FOR EVERY ROAD
Integrated riding modes link Kawasaki TRaction Control (KTRC) and Power Modes to offer varying traction control and power delivery settings to suit different riding conditions.
– Sport mode enables sporty riding for backroads.
– Road mode offers comfortable riding over a wide range of conditions.
– Rain mode delivers reassurance over wet surfaces.
– Rider (manual) mode lets you set each system independently.
HOLD THE LINE
The Ninja® 1100SX ABS utilizes advanced technology to deliver superior cornering performance. The Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF) uses input from the IMU to enable a control function—cornering management—which monitors engine and chassis parameters to assist riders in holding their intended line through corners.
ALL THE POWER YOU NEED
Riders can set power delivery to suit conditions and/or preference. Low power mode limits power output to approximately 70% of full power and delivers a milder throttle. Full power mode utilizes 100% engine power.
ALL-DAY COMFORT
Sport performance doesn’t mean you should sacrifice superior ride comfort. Several intuitive features contribute to the overall rideability and comfort of the Ninja® 1100SX ABS.
LOW VIBRATIONS
Handlebar weights and bar-end inserts help to keep vibration to a minimum, making longer-distance cruising comfortable on your hands.
ADJUSTABLE
The 5-position clutch lever can be adjusted to accommodate hand size or to suit preference.
WIDE & COMFORTABLE
Rider and passenger seats are contoured for comfort that will go the distance. Seat material offers superb elasticity and resistance to cold temperatures for optimal comfort. The rider seat features dense, springy urethane cushioning that helps retain its original shape.
ERGONOMIC & EASY
The ergonomically sculpted passenger grips are easy to hold and naturally positioned.
RELAXED & COMFORTABLE
Adaptable, relaxed upright riding position is comfortable and optimized to accommodate riders of varying sizes and a full range of riding situations.
MAKE EVERY RIDE A BREEZE
An adjustable windshield offers four positions ranging from sporty to maximum wind protection. Adjustments can be made by hand (no tools required) by depressing the release button below the instrument panel*. *Windshield adjustment should be made when the bike is stopped.
RIDE FARTHER
Features such as a high-grade full-color TFT LCD screen that displays detailed and useful information, and both DC and USB-C power outlets allow you to ride longer and enjoy more.
DIGITAL LANDSCAPE
All-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance and visibility. The screen’s background color is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.
Display functions include: digital speedometer, gear position indicator, upshift indicator, odometer, dual trip meter, fuel gauge, cruising distance, average fuel consumption, outside temperature, water temperature, clock, economical riding indicator, IMU indicator, KIBS indicator, boost pressure, and boost temperature.
“HEY KAWASAKI, SWITCH TO SPORT MODE”
A Bluetooth® chip built into the instrument panel lets you connect to your motorcycle wirelessly. Using smartphone connectivity (via RIDEOLOGY THE APP MOTORCYCLE†) several instrument functions can be accessed allowing you to view vehicle info, riding log, phone notifications, tuning of general settings, Kawasaki Riding Management, and navigation.

INTELLIGENT & RESPONSIVE
The Ninja® 1100SX ABS is equipped with Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS), a supersport-grade high-precision multi-sensing ABS brake assistance system. Plus, an electric cruise control system allows a desired speed to be maintained with the simple press of a button.
