Aprilia Racing renews its challenge at the Indonesian GP
JORGE MARTÍN AND MARCO BEZZECCHI READY FOR THE SEVENTEENTH GP OF THE SEASON
Just a few days after the Motegi race, Aprilia Racing returns to action for the season’s seventeenth GP, held at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

Jorge Martín arrives in Indonesia after a standout weekend at Motegi, where he set a new all-time lap record to claim pole position, secured a Sprint podium, and finished second in the Grand Prix. The Spanish rider comes to Mandalika leading the championship with 333 points, looking to build on his strong results from the last two Grands Prix.

Marco Bezzecchi comes to the Indonesian GP intent on confirming his competitiveness aboard the RS-GP26 and fighting for top positions, following a solid weekend in Japan where he finished sixth in the Sprint and took a podium in the Grand Prix.

Opened in 2021, the Pertamina Mandalika Circuit features a mix of fast corners, rapid changes of direction, and heavy braking zones. The 4.3 km track runs clockwise and consists of 17 corners: 11 right-handers and six left-handers.

We leave Japan very satisfied, from a circuit that in the past hadn’t been among Aprilia’s best. The team did an exceptional job, and the double podium is an even greater testament to everyone’s commitment. Now we head to Indonesia, to a circuit where I’ve always felt good. However, the championship is still very tight, so we have to keep going this way, working together and improving day by day. See you in Mandalika!
I’m happy to be racing here in Indonesia. Mandalika is a track I really like. We come here off the back of a good race in Japan, so we’ll try to carry on with our work and keep improving. Our aim is to try to be competitive in every session on track.
