2026 Ducati Panigale V2 FB63: CELEBRATE FRANCESCO BAGNAIA VICTORY.
Introducing the new 2026 Ducati Panigale V2 FB63…
This special edition of the Panigale V2 was developed based on its role as a training bike for Francesco Bagnaia. The dedicated equipment included in this version forms the ideal setup for hitting the track: racing-position handlebars, forged wheels, and more racing-inspired details to make the Panigale V2 even more effective on the curbs. The one-of-a-kind livery is inspired by Francesco Bagnaia’s race helmet and gloves, making this Panigale V2 instantly recognizable.
Like Francesco Bagnaia, Marc Márquez also trains with the Panigale V2 during the MotoGP season. For this reason, a dedicated version of the bike has been created for the 9-time world champion as well—highlighting Ducati’s commitment to supporting both its official riders.
The Panigale V2 FB63 and MM93 are two numbered versions designed for enthusiasts who want to be recognized as fans of their hero rider. The special liveries are created in close collaboration with Francesco and Marc. The two special versions are based on the Panigale V2 S, adding dedicated exclusive equipment. Panigale V2 FB63 and MM93 represent the nonplus ultra in the Panigale V2 range.
Ducati unveils the Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63. Two special versions, produced in a numbered series, dedicated to the Lenovo 2025 team riders, embellished with unique liveries and more effective on the track thanks to a dedicated set-up that enhances the dynamic characteristics of the Panigale.
The Panigale V2 S is used in track training by both riders, who have been enthusiastic about it since their first contact. Marc Márquez, fresh off his first lap, compared it to the previous Panigale V2 and described it as ‘incredibly light, superior in braking and handling, with greater torque at low revs and generally much easier to ride’. A few weeks later, Pecco Bagnaia immediately improved his reference time by two tenths of a second on the circuit where he trains with the twin-cylinder bike.
The two Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63 models pay homage to the two Ducati riders, but above all, they are even more unique and high-performance versions of the Panigale V2 S, capable of captivating at first glance and proving faster on the track.

2026 Ducati Panigale V2 FB63 Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits
The MM93 livery reproduces the one used by Marc Márquez in his first test as an official Ducati rider, celebrating the historic moment of his ‘todo rojo’ debut, a prelude to one of the most beautiful pages in history written by Ducati and Márquez himself. The livery focuses on Marc’s race number, 93, and features the rider’s identification (MM93) used by the teams on the fairing and next to the model name.
The livery of the FB63 reproduces the black and red camouflage colouring used on Bagnaia’s helmet, gloves and boots, and features the FB63 identifier next to the model name and the motto ‘GoFree’ on the sides of the fairing.
The five-spoke forged aluminium wheels, inspired by the design of the DesmosediciGP, are featured for the first time on the new Panigale V2. 1.5 kg lighter than cast rims, thanks to the reduction in inertia (-27% at the front, -21% at the rear), they increase responsiveness and handling, also improving acceleration performance. The adjustable Öhlins steering damper increases stability and steering precision.
The low clip-ons, mounted on the billet steering plate, customised with the progressive number, make body movements more effective when riding on the track. The taller, more protective racing plexiglass windscreen improves aerodynamic efficiency, increases rider comfort and stability at high speeds, and reinforces the Panigale V2’s sporty image. The grips, inspired by those of the official DesmosediciGPs, improve grip, a fundamental aspect of track riding.
The Panigale V2 FB63 and MM93 will be available throughout Europe from March 2026. They will arrive in US dealerships in April, and subsequently in Japan and Australia from July.
Exclusive features
The Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63 are two numbered versions designed for enthusiasts who want to be recognized as fans of their hero rider. The special liveries are created in close collaboration with Francesco and Marc. The two special versions are based on the Panigale V2 S, adding dedicated exclusive equipment. The Panigale V2 MM93 and FB63 represent the nonplus ultra in the Panigale V2 range.
Dedicated celebrative helmet-inspired livery
The livery of the FB63 draws inspiration from Pecco Bagnaia’s helmet, gloves, and boots for the 2025 season. FB63 and MM93 are the identification codes of the official Ducati Lenovo Team riders used in the team during the championship.
Numbered version with the rider’s number and Öhlins steering damper
The numbered version of the bike, customized with the rider’s official race number, features a premium Öhlins steering damper for enhanced stability and precision. This setup not only reflects the rider’s identity but also ensures optimal control during high-performance training sessions.
Forged Wheels
The forged wheels for the first time on the new Panigale V2 feature a 5-tangential-spoke design inspired by high-performance engineering, offering a significant advantage over traditional cast wheels. They are lighter by 3.4 lb (1.5 kg), which contributes to a lower moment of inertia—27% at the front and 21% at the rear—resulting in improved handling, quicker acceleration, and enhanced responsiveness.
Racing lower clip-ons
Lower clip-ons provide a more racing riding position to give more control and feeling while riding on the racetrack.
Moto-GP Inspired Handgrips
Sport handgrips are designed to enhance rider control and comfort, especially during aggressive or track-oriented riding. These grips offer a firmer, more tactile surface that improves feedback from the handlebars. Their ergonomic shape and material composition help reduce vibration and hand fatigue, ensuring a secure and responsive connection between rider and machine.
Racing Plexy with “GoFree” detail
Designed to enhance performance on the racetrack. With its aerodynamic profile, it reduces air resistance and improves rider stability at high speed. The FB63 version features the “Go Free” motto.
Francesco and his special Panigale V2 FB63 version
The Panigale V2 FB63 is a tribute to Francesco Bagnaia and the bike he uses for training during the MotoGP season. Its livery is inspired by the camouflage graphics that decorate the helmet, boots, and gloves of the three-time world champion for the 2025 season. The perforated leather jacket will also be available soon.
V2 engine
Featuring the classic 90° architecture, the trademark of Ducati twins, the new V2 is equipped with an innovative electronic variable timing system that ensures substantial torque delivery at all engine speeds and real sports performance at the top end. Homologated with displacement of 890 cc, it weighs just 119 lbs, making it the lightest twin-cylinder ever produced in Borgo Panigale.
New 5” full TFT dashboard and “coming home” function
The new dashboard is fully updated, inspired by the design of the Panigale V4. The 5-inch, full TFT display offers a cutting-edge user interface with three info modes – Road, Road Pro and Track – which integrates all the warning lights and provides the perfect balance of information depending on the situation, for a more intuitive and engaging riding experience. The new Panigale also integrates the Coming Home function, which ensures the headlight stays on for a few seconds after the bike is switched off.
Adjustable suspension
The standard version of the Panigale V2 is equipped with a fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi fork at the front and a Kayaba shock at the rear. The Panigale V2 S, with 43 mm Öhlins NIX30 fork and an Öhlins shock, offers advanced customization and unparalleled riding feeling.
New wheels
The Panigale V2 is equipped with innovative die-cast aluminum wheels featuring six “Y” spokes arranged in three groups of two. The Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, 120/70 at the front and 190/55 at the rear, offer an impressive footprint and exceptional handling on the road. For those seeking maximum performance on track, slick tires with a 190/60 rear, the same size used in the Supersport World Championship, can be mounted.
Brakes
Panigale V2 is equipped with Brembo M50 calipers. More efficient than the M4.32, they ensure a controlled, adjustable response. The colored calipers, available as an accessory, add another personalised touch to the bike, which mounts two Ø 320 mm Brembo front discs. This braking system is designed to offer significant performance on track, without ever being aggressive on the road.
Thermal Comfort
Panigale V2 guarantees greater thermal comfort than the previous version, thanks to passive ventilation ducts designed to optimize the air flow and reduce heat during riding. This innovative solution improves the experience for the rider, ensuring a comfortable temperature even in the most challenging conditions, on both road and track.
First-class electronics
The advanced electronics package on the Panigale V2 guarantees unmatched enjoyment, maximizing performance in total safety and offering complete control in every situation.
Bosch Cornering ABS
The ABS system on the Panigale V2 comes complete with cornering function, for ABS intervention even when the bike is tilted. Cornering ABS can be set according to three levels to meet the needs of all riders, whether on track or road, even in critical conditions of low grip.
While level 3 is suitable for the road or for conditions of low grip, levels 2 and 1 are aimed more at sports riding on high grip surfaces or on track.
Level 2 is recommended for amateur track use. The system manages both the front and rear braking systems and keeps the cornering function activated in the absence of lift control, for more sports-style braking. Level 1 is designed for expert track use, ensuring race-specific intervention with the ABS system acting only on the front wheel.
Ducati Wheelie Control
Panigale V2 is equipped with the latest version of Ducati Wheelie Control. Using information from the six-axis IMU, this system controls wheelies and allows the rider to achieve maximum acceleration simply and safely.
Ducati Traction Control (DTC)
The DTC interfaces with the 6-axis inertial platform to adapt intervention and slip to the bike’s lean angle. The DTC can be set according to 8 different levels (6 for dry conditions, 2 for wet), allowing the rider to adapt the control strategy to suit their riding style and the grip conditions, for maximum performance.
Engine Brake Control (EBC)
EBC (Engine Brake Control) has been revised to help riders optimise stability of the bike in extreme conditions of corner entry, balances the forces that the rear tire is subject to in conditions of intense engine brake application.
Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) 2.0
The new Panigale V2 uses the second-generation DQS that debuted on the new Panigale V4. With respect to a traditional quick shift, the gear lever with internal Hall-effect micro-switch is replaced with a direct mechanical lever. This is possible because the shifting strategy is based solely on the gear sensor that supplies information as to the gear and position in degrees of the gear drum. This solution gives the rider a more direct feeling, with reduced travel, that is repeatable and less “gummy”, particularly beneficial when riding on track.
Ducati Power Launch e Ducati Pit Limiter
The new Panigale V2 S is equipped with the Ducati Power Launch and Pit Limiter. The first is a system that guarantees lightning starts, allowing the rider to focus only on releasing the clutch. The second, which can be activated via the dedicated button, automatically limits bike speed along the pitlane. DPL and Pit Limiter are available as accessories for the Panigale V2.
Riding Mode
The Riding Modes allow the rider to choose between four different, pre-set riding styles (Race, Sport, Road, Wet) so that the behaviour of the V2 bike perfectly suits the rider, type of surface and environmental conditions. The Wet Riding Mode, recommended for low grip surfaces, is associated with Low Power Mode, which limits engine power to 95 hp.
The lightest Panigale of all time
The Ducati Panigale V2 marks a historic transition in the history of Borgo Panigale twin-cylinder sports bikes, because for the first time it is not derived from the larger motorcycle that competes in Superbike. Designed totally from scratch, it is the lightest ever Panigale. It weighs 37 lb less thanthe previous model, from which it inherits its sports attitude and adds a level of ease, comfort and riding pleasure.
Benchmark performance and equipment
Lightness, intuition and reduced physical effort are combined with a torque curve that is generous at low rpm and delivers sports performance at the top end thanks to the new V2 engine. All enriched with category-topping technical and electronic equipment: this is the new Panigale V2.
The lightest Panigale of all time
With a dry weight of just 388 lbs for the S version, the new Panigale V2 is the lightest Panigale ever produced. Weighing 37 lbs less than the previous generation, this extraordinary lightness translates into a unique riding experience, on both road and track.
The evolution of Ducati DNA
The new Panigale V2 is the first mid-size sports bike in Ducati history to be designed from scratch, rather than deriving from the ‘larger’ models. The design is inspired by that of the new Panigale V4, with lines and concepts transferred across to the new mechanical base, but it all began with a blank page. This approach results in a more horizontal dynamic and less front load, which highlights the compactness of the new V engine.
The lightest twin-cylinder in Ducati history
Weighing in at just 119 lbs, the new V2 engine is the lightest Ducati twin ever produced. Its lightness contributes to the significant weight reduction of the Panigale V2, which boasts a dry weight of 388 lbs. This engine guarantees benchmark performance on track and is also enjoyable and entertaining on the road thanks to its generous torque.
Track-level performance to enjoy on the road
During development tests on track, the new Panigale V2 proved as fast as the previous model, despite that version having been conceived as a race bike with lights, number plate and rear-view mirrors. This, thanks to the 37 lbs weight saving, a lightweight and modern chassis, new ergonomics, the significant engine torque, and an ease of riding unknown to the previous V2. Aboard the new Panigale V2, the rider is comfortable right from the first corner and better able to reach the limit, thanks to the reduced physical effort required to ride it.
New geometries for exceptional feeling
The new geometries of the Panigale V2 ensure unprecedented stability and handling. The riding position is more comfortable, and the thermal comfort of the rider significantly improved. The design of the tank, which better supports the rider during sports riding, recalls that of the new Panigale V4, but is adapted to the new mechanical base and altered ergonomic triangle. Surfaces in contact with the rider are designed to encapsulate support, comfort and versatility, making the new Panigale V2 as efficient on the track as it is enjoyable and comfortable to ride on the road, the physical effort required to ride it always contained.
The power of emotion
Style, racing tradition and sophisticated technology. The new Panigale V2 redefines its sports attitude, while retaining the same values. Every aspect of this bike promises a unique and exciting experience. A bike designed and developed for those who dream of a Ducati twin. Make yourself comfortable. Play.
Exciting weight-power ratio
With a weight of just 388 lbs and power of 120 hp, every acceleration becomes a thrilling and intuitive experience. This ideal balance ensures brilliant performance on track as well as greater comfort during everyday riding.
