Richmond Hill, ON. BMW Group Canada has been recognized as one of Canada’s best workplaces by the Great Place To Work Institute. This year, the German automaker was ranked #24 in the 1000+ Employees category, marking the sixth straight year of participation that the BMW Group has placed in the top 40 companies in Canada.
“Everyone at BMW is proud of this amazing achievement and honoured to be recognized,” said Carrie Dear, Director of Human Resources, BMW Group Canada. “We have great associates here and have created a structure to ensure our corporate culture is not only supportive, but that it really allows our people to thrive.”
Rooted in the impressive ranking is also the significance that the Great Place To Work results came directly from employee feedback. Of note, BMW Group Canada scored especially high in the dimensions of pride and camaraderie, indicating the welcoming, fun and hardworking environment that continues to drive and inspire high performance through collaboration.
BMW Group Canada continues to develop and foster an environment where associates are motivated to contribute and rewarded for their hard work. In an effort to improve corporate culture and evolve as a great place to work, BMW also has an open-door policy where associates are encouraged to provide feedback and new ideas to their managers.
