HUSQVARNA COLTON HAAKER WINS ENDUROCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

HAAKER CLINCHES TITLE AT BOISE FINALE

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing Off-Road’s Colton Haaker clinched the 2018 AMA EnduroCross Championship Saturday night at the Boise EnduroCross, the last round of the series, held at the Ford Idaho Center in Boise, ID.

Haaker started the night strong by posting the fastest hot lap time, then continued on a winning path by taking the win in his heat as well as the extra championship point in the bracket races. He was third at the start of the Super EnduroCross Main Event then led the first two laps before going back to second in the third lap. Riding conservative to maintain his points lead, he stayed steady and finished second. The second-place finish gave Haaker his second AMA EnduroCross Championship.

“It feels great to get this championship back,” said Haaker. “It took a massive team effort with the Rockstar Energy Husqvara Factory Racing Off Road group. A lot of time and effort happened behind the scenes to make nights like this happen and dreams come true! I can’t thank everyone involved enough! A 2018 EnduroCross Championship, a comeback season…season to remember!!”
