Mandello del Lario (LC), 30 September 2026 – Following the grand opening in early September, more than six thousand people have visited Moto Guzzi’s new home in Mandello del Lario. This success builds on the GMG (Moto Guzzi World Days) event, which attracted more than 60,000 motorcycle lovers to the shores of Lake Como between 3 and 6 September.
An average of over 300 people a day, curious to visit the new museum with its extraordinary collection of over 160 rare motorbikes, the large outdoor areas featuring the fully restored Wind Tunnel and the viewing route which provides a closer look at the new factory, a remarkable showcase of technology. Visitors can also enjoy the café and the large Motoplex shopping area, with the full range of Moto Guzzi products, as well as all of the Piaggio Group motorbike and scooter brands. The store also features a number of clothing ranges, including technical and leisurewear, from motorbike touring gear to official Aprilia Racing MotoGP clothing, as well as elegant Vespa attire.
From 1 October to 31 March, Moto Guzzi will be open to visitors from Thursday to Sunday, with opening hours from 10am to 5pm on Thursdays and Fridays and until 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The new Moto Guzzi site has established itself as a destination not only for motorcyclists from all over Europe keen to have their photo taken in front of the legendary red gate on Via Parodi, but also for a wider audience, from families, schools and groups of friends to design and technology lovers.
The newly-opened spaces are the result of an ultra-modern and visionary project – one of the most spectacular works of industrial architecture in Italy – and tell a story of technology, innovation and design, and the museum’s extraordinary collection offers insight into the evolution of technology, style and society over the last century.
