Sincere and bad

The DB8 is created to tackle the tracks at high speed, natural ground for the sports rider.

The DB8 offers the rider a ergonomic riding position, however, that ensures a good support in curves.

Nimble in changing direction Bimota DB8 is burning out of corners, thanks to low weight and the engineers have optimized the Bimota that already muscular engine power cylinder.

And ‘offered in versions BIPOSTO and SP, where the sporting nature of this bike is further enhanced by a Brembo braking system even more powerful than the version TANDEM and a weight content further through greater use of carbon.

The line incorporates the styles DB7, with simple lines and decided.

A combination of elegance and sportiness, where the colors black and white and red version TANDEM version of SP enhance the clean lines and compact dimensions front and side.

Even on this bike stand out in particular carbon and the elegance of the composite trellis swingarm, which leaves the rear end free to be admired by the eyes.

Technology

Evolution of the project DB7, the DB8 is powered by a twin engine “L” of 1198 cc capable of expressing a power of 170 hp at 9750 rpm, run by an injection system developed by Bimota.

The frame is trellis composite tubes and employs a larger diameter capable of ensuring a good rigidity of the medium.

The swing arm, pivoted directly on the engine, is made with the same technology of the frame. This ensures absolute weight control and at the same time lets see where the rear end housing is the single shock, fully adjustable spring preload and hydraulic compression and rebound with selection for high and low speed operation.

The fork is adjustable fork with 43 mm, the braking system is Brembo, as SP is the clamp block.

The wheels, forged aluminum, are derived from racing.

The SP version is the codon monocoque carbon, while in version TANDEM is an aluminum frame used to support the weight of the passenger.
