2013 Benelli Motard 250 Review

2013 Benelli Motard 250

Riding like a big…

A bike with tons of character, the Benelli Motard 250! Born to entertain even the younger and less experienced riders, this lightweight and manoeuvrable bike is appreciated also by an adult public who wants to get closer to this market segment. Motard 250 is fit for those who long for strong emotions without neglecting the attention to price, very affordable.

The single-cylinder Motard 250 is compact, super modern and liquid cooled, with double overhead camshaft and 4 valves. The maximum power is 24,5 hp (18kW) @ 9000 rpm, the maximum torque is 21 Nm (2,14 kgm) @ 7000 rpm for guaranteed excellent performances. Wet sump lubrication, wet clutch and 6 speeds gearbox and final chain drive are its additional features

Beautiful at first glance. The fairing brings out the sporting attitude of the new Benelli Motard 250. The fuel tank is compact and the aggressive front mudguard dominates the scene. The conveyors are light and elegant, as all the central part of the bike, engineered for an easy control of the vehicle in sports riding.

The frame is made of triangular and resilient tubular steel which wraps the single- cylinder engine. The suspensions have ø 50mm front fork with hydraulic adjustment and a rear single shock-absorber with progressive link. Benelli’s focus on safety is proved also by the characteristics of the braking system, with a ø 280mm front disc and a ø 238mm rear disc, both with callipers and twin pistons.

Aluminium 17’’ rims with 100/80-17 and 130/70-17 tyres. Dry weight is of only 132 kg, which ensures an easy and direct approach to Motard 250. Presented in the colours of white and green, will be available from middle of 2013 . The price, very competitive, will be released shortly.
