The extremely economical, water-cooled two-cylinder inline engine with 55 kW (75 hp) and 77 Nm impresses both off-road and in the city. The F 700 GS is zippy and a pure joy to ride. A reduced-power version with 35 kW (48 hp) is also available for holders of EU driving licences, who are under the age of 25, ensuring they can also enjoy riding a real GS.

HIGH-QUALITY DESIGN.

The new knee cover with its galvanised surface significantly increases the visual appeal of the F 700 GS. The same is true of the high-quality design of the new ignition lock cover and tank cover. Details such as the new model inscription and the new dual-colour seat cover create a look that stands out.

ABS, ASC AND ESA.

The classic BMW Motorrad ABS comes as standard with this series. The special equipment ASC traction control (Automatic Stability Control) increases safety additionally. Depending on the road conditions, the ASC limits the drive torque of the engine, thereby, significantly increasing active driving safety in borderline situations. Both the ABS and ASC systems may of course be switched off for off-road use. The ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), including Comfort, Normal and Sport driving modes, not only provides more comfort, but also a safer ride.
