Combining show-stopping style with the performance and dependability of a production Kawasaki motorcycle, the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero is the best of both worlds. A thunderous 1,700cc fuel-injected V-twin featuring advanced Kawasaki technology offers a smooth, reassuring ride.

Whether on the highway or city streets, the 2016 Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS motorcycle has the muscle to log miles with style ­– style that pays homage to its classic cruiser roots. New for 2016 is black trim on the turn signals, tail light and instrument panel to enhance its rugged good looks.

The thunderous 1700cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine has an Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV) to ensure smooth power delivery, four-valve heads with hydraulic valve adjusters, a six-speed transmission for relaxed cruising, plus a hydraulic clutch and final belt drive. Additionally, the Vaquero has Kawasaki Advanced Coactive-braking Technology (K-ACT) ABS and twin front brake discs, providing both front and rear braking whenever either hand or foot brake is applied allowing the rider remain confident under all road conditions.

With a color-matched inner dash and black trim on the gauges, the rider’s view of the Vaquero lends itself to the scenery of the open road. A locking glovebox on each side of the fairing provide secure storage for garage door openers, sunglasses and other necessary items. Large, powerful speakers deliver sound from the built-in stereo, and all the necessary rider information is displayed to the rider via classically styled analog gauges as well as an LCD display panel.

All of the features of the Vulcan 1700 Vaquero ABS motorcycle add up to a truly top-of-the-line bagger, encompassing a perfect combination of functionality across a wide range of environments; from inner-city running to cruising down the open road.
