2019 Yamaha WR250F:

The DNA of its YZ250F and FX brothers in a light, great handling trail machine for all around off‑road riding.

We’ve taken our revolutionary YZ four-stroke motocross technology and applied it to the enduro world. Rearward slanted engine, reversed cylinder, forward-mounted fuel injection and a compact chassis are just some of the key features found on the WR250F. Delivering light, agile handling on tight trails, the WR is also a great choice for the experienced recreational rider.

For improved power and rev feeling this winning 4-stroke gets a whole range of engine performance upgrades inspired by our Enduro World Championship race bikes. And for class leading handling and cornering characteristics there’s a compact new YZ250F-based aluminium chassis with optimised suspension settings.

New graphics and blue rims give you the genuine factory look. And with Yamaha durability and quality as standard, this bike is the right way to go.

///Performance

The WR250F is based on the previous-generation YZ250F and thus features items like a forward-mounted 44 mm fuel injection system and wraparound exhaust. A couple of items you won’t find on a YZ250F is the WR’s 6-speed transmission, electric starting and a radiator cooling fan. Constant improvements make the WR250F a top-performing off-roader.

///Frame & Suspension

The adjustable KYB suspension found on the WR series is considered by many to be the best in the business. Front and rear suspension settings revised in 2018 provide better rider feedback for improved performance and handling. The chassis design centralizes mass for fast, accurate, and agile handling.

  Industry favorite fully adjustable KYB® spring-type forks with speed sensitive damping with Kashima Coat™ and a KYB® rear shock, also with Kashima Coat™ and featuring a large 50mm piston. Both the forks and rear shock are tuned specifically for enduro riding.
• Purpose-Built Tires
  Special enduro spec tires are used to maximize traction while delivering excellent wear.
