2021 Kawasaki KLX300 Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

ENDURO RACER-DERIVED ENGINE
EXCITING ENGINE
With enduro racer-derived performance, the fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine delivers a rewarding spread of power across the rev range. Complementing its strong, rider-friendly low-mid range, it offers crisp response with every twist of the throttle thanks to cam profiles sourced from Kawasaki’s 2020 KLX300R play bike.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE 292cc ENGINE
The 292cc engine (bore x stroke 78.0 x 61.2 mm) is positioned low in the frame, contributing to a low centre of gravity. Optimised ignition timing delivers a strong yet easy to use power delivery at low and mid-range rpm that transitions smoothly to the powerful top-end.

STAY COOL WHEN RIDING
Kawasaki’s innovative radiator fan cover guides hot air down and away from the rider, contributing to rider comfort.

ENDURO RACER-DERIVED CHASSIS
RACER-BASED CHASSIS
The enduro racer-based frame and chassis components are the source of the KLX300’s high-level off-road performance. But whether riding on- or off-road, the lightweight package offers both manoeuvrability and excellent control.

LIGHTWEIGHT PERIMETER FRAME
The box- and tubular-section high-tensile steel perimeter frame creates a slim, lightweight package. The lightweight, highly rigid aluminum D-section swingarm contributes to low un-sprung weight.

ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
An adjustable ø43 mm inverted cartridge-style front fork works with Uni Trak rear suspension equipped with adjustable damping and preload to deliver agile handling for exciting on- and off-road riding.

IN-TOWN & OFF-ROAD VERSATILITY
The dual purpose KLX300 is fitted with a 21” front wheel and 18” rear, enabling great off-road potential.

COMFORTABLE ERGONOMICS
Complementing the relaxed, upright riding position, a thick urethane seat contributes to comfort on longer rides, while an easy reach to the ground adds to rider confidence.

STYLING
AGGRESSIVE STYLING
The KLX300 offers aggressive styling that is sure to turn heads whether riding in the city or off the beaten path.

DISTINCTIVE HEADLIGHT
Original headlight adds to the aggressive looks.

DIGITAL INSTRUMENTATION
All-digital instrumentation includes digital speedometer, bar-type tachometer, clock, odometer, dual trip meters, and a range of warning/indicator lamps.
