2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO: REALIZE YOUR SCRAMBLER DREAMS.

Introducing the new 2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO:

An artwork with a sporty attitude. In its “Matt Black” colour, equipped with Öhlins suspension, low handlebars and café racer-style rear-view mirrors, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is the most muscular version ever.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO represents the sportiest and most muscular expression of the “Land of Joy”. Equipped with Öhlins suspension, low handlebars and Café Racer style rear-view mirrors to increase riding comfort, the Sport PRO version is visually characterized by the “Matt Black” colour of the fuel tank with the 1100 logo painted on the interchangeable panels and the brown seat. The black frame is made of tubular steel and perfectly matches the aluminium rear frame and the aluminium covers, which are also black.

The rear is the most characteristic part of this Ducati Scrambler thanks to the twin right side exhaust and the low number plate holder that contribute to making the bike compact. Another distinctive element is the front light with glass lens and DRL (Daytime Running Light) with frame and characteristic black “X.”

The engine of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is the 1,079 cc L-twin with desmodromic distribution and air cooling that delivers an output of 86 hp at 7500 rpm and 9.2 kgm of torque at 4,750 rpm.

2021 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the introduction of the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine on a Ducati, seen for the first time in 1971 on the Ducati 750 GT. For the occasion, Ducati Scrambler has decided to pay homage to the history of this famous engine by adding a celebratory model to the range: this is how the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO was born.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO is a motorcycle that has been created with enthusiasts of modern-classic motorcycles and fans of motorcycle history, particularly that of Ducati, in mind.

The new Ducati Scrambler model pays homage to the history of the Borgo Panigale company through the choice of a fascinating “Giallo Ocra” livery, a colour particularly relevant at that time for Ducati, to which the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO adds further style details such as the use of the iconic Ducati logo of the 1970s, designed by Giugiaro, and black spoked wheels. Further distinctive styling details are represented by the circular rear-view mirrors and the brown seat with dedicated stitching.

From a technical point of view, the bike has the characteristics of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO family. It has an iconic and at the same time original design, an agile chassis and a 1.079 cc engine characterized by generous torque from low revs.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO comes standard with three Riding Modes, each associated with different Power Modes and various levels of Ducati Traction Control (DTC). Furthermore, thanks to the front headlight with LED light guide, the bike is always visible and recognizable even during the day.

Within the range of the most performing bikes of the Ducati Scrambler family, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO joins the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Dark PRO models, the gateway to the 1100s of the “Land of Joy”, and Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO, the sportiest and most muscular version of the Ducati Scrambler.

The entire 1100 range is equipped as standard with ABS Cornering and Ducati Traction Control (DTC) for safe riding in any situation. The models are also designed for the Ducati Multimedia System (DMS), which enables a smartphone to be connected to the bike via Bluetooth, while the USB socket positioned under the seat is standard. The entire 1100 range is also available in a 35-kW version for A2 license holders

2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Iconic style
Equipped with low handlebars and Café Racer-style rear-view mirrors. Available in “Matt Black” color. The 1100 logo is painted on the interchangeable cheeks.

Öhlins
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with Öhlins suspension. Specifically a 45 mm diameter upside-down fork and a rear shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. Both allow 150 mm wheel travel to cover all types of terrain, from city obstacles to those that can be encountered on soft offroad tracks. This mix of comfort and performance confirms the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO’s multi-purpose attitude, with the aim of adapting to the riding style of the rider.

Full of technology
With the electronic management system Ride by Wire and the inertial platform, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO offers high standards of active safety and performance always within everyone’s reach and for every type of use thanks to the three Riding Modes. The Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC).

Engine
The engine of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is an air-and oil-cooled, 1079 cm³, two-valve L-twin engine with EURO 5 approval. It has a bore of 98 mm and a stroke of 71.5 mm and favours smooth acceleration at all rpm and ease of handling. The Desmodue engine of the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO has lightweight crankcases and machined aluminium clutch and alternator covers. The two belt covers are also made of aluminium and they are also machined to enhance the aesthetics.

Riding comfort
With tubular steel trellis frame with double top beam. Essential, like the Scrambler, it embraces the engine and is completed by an aluminium rear frame. It guarantees great agility in traffic as much as between hairpin bends in the mountains. Thanks to the wide handlebar, moving between urban obstacles is child’s play with the Scrambler, while the 1,514 mm wheelbase maximises stability, even at high speeds. The frame and cycling heights allow for a relaxed, easy yet fun ride, while a lower handlebar provides a sportier riding position.

Brembo braking system
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with a Brembo braking system with ABS Cornering, which guarantees safety in all types of corners. At the front, a 320 mm diameter double disc has been fitted to two Brembo M 4.32B monobloc four-piston calipers with radial connection. At the rear there is a 245 mm disc on which a 34 mm single-piston caliper works. The ABS system has only one level of intervention and is not switchable.

Innovative lighting
The light guide along the outer circumference, powered by an LED source that acts as a position light, is a DRL (Daytime Running Light), which allows the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO to be easily recognizable even during the day. Taking inspiration from the tape that was applied to the headlights in the 1970s to preserve the light cluster, a black metal “X” was recreated inside the headlight. At the rear, the optical group is of the full LED type with a diffusion effect and uses a technology that is unique in the world of two wheels.
