2022 Honda CB1000R: THE NEO SPORTS CAFE REVOLUTION.

Introducing the 2022 Honda CB1000R…

The Honda CB1000R has built its reputation on powerful, understated performance combined with cutting-edge Neo-Sports Café styling. And for 2021 we’ve done it one better: Introducing the CB1000R. The blackout look is apparent at a glance, but the closer you look, the more attention to detail you’ll see. This isn’t just a bike with a black tank: virtually every element gets the treatment—the fork, subframe, radiator shrouds, airbox covers, front fender mounts, wheels, and more. But there are some tasty machined highlights too—like the touches you’ll see on the handlebar clamp, swingarm pivot plates, and wheel spokes, all of which give the a hand-crafted, custom look. Other upgrades include a new digital instrument display, seat cowl, under-seat USB port, and a new quick shifter too. So come over to the dark side—on a CB1000R .

2022 Honda CB1000R Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Dynamic performance
The CB1000R’s powerful 998 cc four-cylinder engine produces generous handfuls of midrange torque — expertly tuned for dynamic and powerful performance.

Advanced technology
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) ensures usable and controllable power all the way through the rev range.

Riding modes
You can easily match the bike’s performance to your riding style by choosing between four selectable throttle-response modes (Standard, Sport, Rain, User).

Athletic sound
Responsive performance is further enhanced by large intake and exhaust valves and throttle bodies, plus the 4-into-2-into-1 exhaust system that produces an ear-pleasing rumble.

Assist slipper clutch
The assist slipper clutch helps get all the CB1000R’s power to the ground, while also providing a lighter pull at the clutch lever. Plus the slipper design helps mitigate wheel hop during aggressive downshifts and deceleration.

Quick-shifter
For fast and smooth upshifts, the CB1000R comes standard with a quick-shifter — no loss of forward drive by having to pull in the clutch or back off the throttle when shifting.

Improved fuel-injection
The settings in the PGM-FI system provide even smoother power delivery and crisper throttle response.

Signature style
The CB1000R’s Neo Sports Café styling is a modern and minimalist take on iconic design — mixing sports naked and café racer inspirations with a signature single-sided swingarm and bright LED lighting.

Advanced braking
The CB1000R’s high-performance braking system with dual front discs and standard two-channel ABS is shared with the flagship Fireblade.

Sport-tuned suspension
For a controlled yet sporty ride, the CB1000R comes equipped with a fully adjustable suspension package, including a Showa Separate Function Fork – Big Piston (SSF-BP) up front and a single Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock at the rear.

Black Edition styling
You can’t miss the CB1000R’s evocative new Black Edition styling, which includes blacked-out engine, shrouds, exhaust, and chassis. Plus check out the machined aluminum wheels, redesigned passenger seat and seat rail, and new instrument panel visor. The monochrome look sends a definite message that the CB1000R is all business.

Riding comfort
The ergonomic seat design and slightly upright riding position increase comfort levels for everyday riding and provide better balance.

Bright lighting
The headlight design incorporates brilliantly bright LEDs to ensure exceptional visibility, night or day.
