Powered by the legendary 1200cc Bonneville parallel twin engine tuned to suit the Thruxton RS’s sports-focused chassis, the muscular low-end torque and peak power of 105PS (103bhp) is matched by some of the highest specification chassis parts in the modern classics segment.

Fully adjustable Showa 43mm USD big piston forks and twin Öhlins shocks with piggyback reservoirs deliver 120mm of refined wheel travel for impeccable handling. Twin Brembo M50 4-piston radial monobloc calipers with 310mm discs offer modern sportsbike levels of braking.

Engine upgrades include new lightweight low inertia crankshaft, clutch, balance shafts, rare earth alternator, magnesium cam cover, thin-walled engine covers, as well as new high-compression pistons, revised ports and cam profile, and secondary air system. Together, these deliver an incredible 20% reduction of inertia and a new Thruxton engine that revs harder for longer.
