Now there’s a 3-year warranty on all motorcycles.

The colour must have an appeal – the idea must be just right
K 1600 GT riders have one thing in common: dynamics and travelling at the highest level. However, when it comes to choosing a colour, the similarities stop: the next corner is always the most beautiful. Just like your own bike.

Option 719 Havanna
With paintwork in Meteoric dust II metallic, black Option 719 forged wheels, and the Option 719 seat, the K 1600 GTL distinctly embodies top-notch elegance.

Sport
How much dynamics can luxury travel take? Style Sport impressively demonstrates this with a triad consisting of Light white/Racing blue metallic/Racing red body colour and highlights including the golden brake calliper at the front and the contrasting paintwork in Light white on the front-wheel cover.

Black storm metallic
How much colour do comfort, dynamics and luxury need? The K 1600 GT in Black storm metallic has a straight-forward answer to this question: from the frame, to the seat and the slipstream deflectors.

Always a little more
Thanks to extensive optional equipment and original BMW Motorrad accessories, you can tailor your bike even more towards yourself and your trips. We also offer the comfort package and tour package ex works: for instance, the comfort package offers shift assistant Pro, which allows you to shift gears without having to operate the clutch. Thanks to audio system 2.0 and the LED additional headlight, the tour package offers both audible and visual highlights. And it goes without saying that the latter applies especially to the Option 719 seat and Option 719 forged wheels optional equipment.

Perfectly prepared
We have prepared two bikes for you as examples to give you ideas for further individualisation. The “Dynamic” and the “Stylish” variants. We have focused, above all, on the dynamics and design of the K 1600 GT.

You’ve never travelled like this: in full screen mode, the 10.25″ TFT colour display with connectivity allows you to virtually immerse yourself in the maps. Perfect readability and clear menu navigation complete any information. Thanks to smartphone-based navigation, operation is as easy as you are used to it in your everyday life: again, it’s what we call perfect design and absolutely superior characteristics. Characteristics that are already reflected in the dynamic, athletic appearance of the K 1600 GT.

Cruising or racing along landscapes? All it takes to decide that on the K 1600 GT is a small twist of the wrist. The revamped engine control unit of the legendary six-cylinder engine provides even more intensity in all areas. This means that you can now unleash the power and torque even more forcefully. The motorcycle now develops the 160 hp rated output 1,000 rpm earlier, at 6,750 rpm. Engine drag torque control (dynamic engine brake control) and Dynamic ESA ensure stability plus safety and are perfectly adapted to the now even more emotionally designed riding modes: for intensive performance touring.

Standard silencers
Made of brushed stainless steel, the two large-volume rear silencers ensure a powerful, six-cylinder sound.

Akrapovič sports silencer
The Akrapovič twin sports silencer is synonymous with the highest demands in terms of appearance and material. Its deep, dull sound attracts attention.

The K 1600 GT is a synonym for pure performance touring. What’s more: without it, this category would probably not even exist. In terms of luxury and comfort, it is as uncompromising as you are.

Sport: New color scheme Racing blue metallic.
Lightwhite uni / Racing blue metallic is discontinued.
Option 719 “Antigua”: New color scheme Blue Ridge Mountain metallic with saddle brown seat. Meteoric Dust II metallic is discontinued.
Factory options: The main stand becomes a single factory option.
