2025 Honda CBR600RR ABS Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Race Bred Performance
Producing 89kW (119hp) at peak, the engine pumps out a direct shot of 14,250rpm adrenaline – and searing top-end speed – and a strong 63Nm torque, with broad spread for smooth drive on hard corner exit. Tuned inlet ports are fed by 44mm throttle bodies ensuring maximum high-rpm gas flow and the cylinder head, valve gear and timing, crankshaft and exhaust are all optimised together. For the road, the engine is also EURO5 and OBD2-2 compliant.

Our Fastest Motorcycles Are All In the Details
CBR Tricolour paint
A racing concept that wins; red for passion, blue for technical abilities and white for motorsport customers.

Approved By the Best
Like the CBR1000RR-R, HRC engineers designed the CBR600RR. It wears their stamp of approval proudly.

The Honda Wing
As on the awesome RC213V-S, a high-end Honda Wing logo only found on our premium motorcycles.

HANDLING
RADIAL-MOUNTED FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS
Radial-mounted monoblock front-brake calipers with four chromium-plated aluminum pistons feature a stiffer construction that provides a better brake feel, ensuring linear and powerful stopping.

Honda MULTI-ACTION SYSTEM INVERTED FORK
The HMAS cartridge fork features smaller-diameter pistons, maintaining high oil velocity, improving damping characteristics, and providing a more comprehensive range of adjustability.

UNIT PRO-LINK® REAR SUSPENSION
Derived from our MotoGP championship-winning bikes, the Unit Pro-Link® rear suspension eliminates the frame-mounted top shock mount, isolating the chassis from the bumps to provide more precise handling and improved traction.

12-SPOKE WHEELS
With their consistent rigidity and balance, these sharp-looking 12-spoke cast aluminum wheels work with the fork and enhance suspension feedback to deliver noticeable handling improvements.

ENGINEERING
CENTRALLY LOCATED FUEL TANK
Strategically positioned as close to the middle and as low in the frame as possible, the 4.8-gallon fuel tank optimizes mass centralization, enhancing the bike’s responsiveness to rider input.

TECHNOLOGY
Honda ELECTRONIC STEERING DAMPER
Our Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) goes beyond typical steering dampers. Sensing handlebar deflection speed and vehicle speed to adjust dynamically, the HESD ensures exceptional low-speed maneuverability while maintaining excellent high-speed stability.

LINE-BEAM HEADLIGHTS
Line-beam headlights have a two-piece reflector design with two H7 bulbs for optimal light distribution and a unique compact design, resulting in improved visibility for the driver and other traffic.

PERFORMANCE
DUAL-STAGE FUEL INJECTION
Dual injectors in each cylinder ensure exceptional low and high rpm capabilities, while refined EFI settings enhance throttle response, especially at smaller openings, for a smooth but still exhilarating ride.

DUAL-STAGE RAM AIR
This ingenious design ensures a generous cool airflow to the airbox, resulting in smooth power delivery and exceptional engine performance throughout the rpm range.

Single Centre-up Exhaust Muffler
A classic feature of the CBR600RR. Aggressive, minimal and tucked under the rear seat. Like nothing else out there.

Riding Modes
You choose. From the 5 pre-sets or go fully custom with Power and Engine Brake Modes, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

Front Fairing Winglets
Downforce created maintains load on the front tyre while leaning into a turn and coming off the front brake.

600cc Inline Four-Cylinder Engine
Tuned for maximum output at high rpm and a wide spread of mid-range torque to hit hard and push harder.

6-Axis IMU Electronic Management
The Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) draws information from all over the bike 100 times a second and manages HSTC, Wheelie Control, Cornering ABS and Rear Lift Control.

Standard-Fit Quickshifter
Lightning-fast, clutchless full gas upshifts and downshifting with auto blip mean you focus on what matters most. The next apex.

ENGINE / DRIVETRAIN

  • Centrally located ram-air intake system delivers midrange power and good throttle response in the high-rpm range.

CHASSIS / SUSPENSION

  • The 41mm Showa Big Piston Fork (BPF) features a large damper piston that generates damping forces at low internal pressures to allow for smooth, responsive fork action. Adjustable for spring preload plus compression and rebound damping.
  • Unit Pro-Link® rear suspension.
  • Using knowledge gained from the Honda RC212V MotoGP race program, the aerodynamic design allows minimal drag. The development and testing used with this CBR600RR bodywork, in turn, led to aerodynamic advancements that were incorporated into the RC213V.
  • This aerodynamic efficiency lends itself to agile handling and good wind deflection for maximum rider comfort.
