HUSQVARNA MOTORCYCLES EXPANDS MOTOCROSS LINE-UP FOR 2025
ALL-NEW AND EXCITING TC 150 AND TC 300 2-STROKE MACHINES ADDED TO THE RANGE

Husqvarna Motorcycles sets a new and higher standard for pure motocross performance in 2025 with a strengthened line-up of seven machines for the new model year. Multiple technical updates include revised frames, engine mounts, bodywork, and suspension settings, which all combine to create an elevated riding experience with two exciting, new 2-stroke models added to the range – the TC 150 and TC 300.

Based upon the class-leading TC 125, the new TC 150 bridges the gap between the TC 125 and the TC 250. Offering improved overall power and a considerable boost to the torque, the TC 150 is the perfect machine for racers looking to gain an advantage when competing against 250 cc 4-stroke machines. Assembled with race-tested components throughout and providing all riders with confidence-inspiring handling, the TC 150 certainly strengthens the 2-stroke line-up available from Husqvarna Motorcycles.

The same philosophy applies to the new TC 300. Using the proven foundations of the TC 250, the 300 cc model is capable of racing with 450 cc 4-strokes thanks to its versatile engine that delivers exceptional torque and peak performance. Undoubtedly, the TC 300 sets a new benchmark for motocross machinery, delivering the ultimate combination of unsurpassed power and rideability within a lightweight construction.

The FC 250 and FC 350 continue to be powered by state-of-the-art, DOHC engines that are designed to be lightweight and play a vital role in elevating overall handling. Together with the FC 450 – the flagship motocross machine manufactured by Husqvarna Motorcycles – all 4-stroke models feature the latest technology and electronic rider aids for superior on track performance.

The latest generation frame ensures all seven models offer exceptional handling in 2025. With material reduced around the upper shock mount and at the front of the chassis, the revisions were introduced to enhance flex characteristics, reduce weight, and improve cornering without compromising straight-line stability. Additionally, and exclusive to the three 4-stroke machines, new engine mounts aid the agility of each motorcycle.

Further chassis revisions include new suspension settings, linkage seals, and a smaller diameter linkage bolt to save weight while redesigned tank shrouds allow easier access to the adjusters on the WP shock. The seat height is 5 mm higher and wider at the lowest point for easier movement on the motorcycle while new, Swedish-inspired graphics create a distinctive look.

All models are expertly crafted with the latest technology and rider aids, in addition to featuring an extensive list of premium aftermarket components to ensure each machine delivers best-in-class rideability. New for 2025 are Dunlop’s latest MX34 tyres, which provide improved acceleration and cornering, while ProTaper handlebars, ODI grips, and Brembo clutch and brake systems are retained for their proven performance and durability.

  • Revised chassis for enhanced flex and cornering agility

2025 Husqvarna EE2 Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Handlebars & grips

The lightweight and strong aluminum handlebars feature a reduced diameter at the grip area with slimmer profile ODI lock-on grips ensuring children can ride in complete control. To underline their premium quality, the handlebars are complete with a high quality, black anodized finish.

Bodywork

Designed to replicate Husqvarna Motorcycles’ full size motocross machines, the subtle graphics on the EE 2 are applied in the same way as those found on the TC and FC models – using an in-mold process for a durable and quality finish.

Wheels & tires

Lightweight and maintenance-free aluminum wheels are finished with a black powder coating to mirror the look of all full-size offroad machines available from Husqvarna Motorcycles. The 10″ wheels are then fitted with KENDA tires and offer excellent grip on all surfaces, instiling confidence in every rider.

Chassis

To create a strong, light, and balanced chassis, the top triple clamp, handlebar mounts, footrest carriers, and brake components are manufactured from high quality, forged aluminum. For the swingarm and skid plate, aluminum is also used but constructed using a high pressure die casting process to add flex and reduce weight.

Frame

The low weight, high quality aluminum frame is both strong and durable. Together with the reinforced fiberglass subframe it creates a robust chassis for the EE 2.

Adjustable seat height

Allowing youngsters to continue riding the EE 2 as they grow in size, the new model can be easily adjusted to accommodate growing riders. As standard, the seat height is 18.5 in (470 mm), which can be increased to 19.6 in (500 mm) by installing the rear shock in the alternative position and by moving the front forks down through the triple clamps. Additionally, the footpegs can be fitted at two different heights to tailor the ergonomics to suit a wider variety of riders.

Suspension

The EE 2 is complete with WP suspension to guarantee the highest level of comfort for all young riders. The hydraulic front forks offer 90 mm of travel while the rear shock, complete with pre-load adjustment, provides 70 mm. Working as one, the WP forks and shock offer exceptional damping and create a perfectly balanced machine that is so much fun to ride.

Electric motor

Fitted inside the rear wheel hub, the HUB Motor delivers a maximum power output of 1.8 kW. One of the main advantages for implementing this ‘HUB-Motor-Concept’ is safety as no chain or sprockets are required to drive the EE 2 forwards. Quiet, durable, and maintenance free, the HUB Motor offers one permanent drive setting that creates a simple and uncomplicated riding experience for youngsters of all abilities.

Power

Easy to remove, quick to re-charge, and fast to re-fit, the Husqvarna BLi300 battery is powerful enough to offer up to 100 minutes of riding time. The small and lightweight lithium-ion battery replicates the same design and connectors as found on all modern power tools, which allows for day-long riding when fully-charged batteries are available.

Safety

To keep children as safe as possible, a rollover sensor disengages the power to the rear wheel should the EE 2 fall over at any speed. Additionally, riders can attach a lanyard around their left wrist, which disconnects the power supply if their hand is removed from the handlebars.

Brakes

For confident braking performance, hydraulic brakes both front and rear are complete with 140 mm discs to ensure the EE 2 is easy to keep under control. The handlebar-mounted brake levers offer full, quick, and easy adjustability so they can be positioned within easy reach of all riders.

Charging

The QC500 charger supplies up to 500 W and can be plugged into any 110 or 230 volt socket. From empty to 80%, the easy-to-remove battery can be charged in just 35 minutes while a full charge takes up to one hour. Designed to offer plug and play simplicity, the lithium-ion battery used to power the EE 2 benefits of the same design as modern power tools, which means fully charged spare batteries can be fitted quickly for continued riding.

Multi-function display

Sleek in design, the Multi-Function Display unit allows parents to toggle through three pre-set ride modes and engage the appropriate setting. Different colour LEDs indicate which mode is activated; blue for walking speed, white for medium power, and green for a top speed of 20.5 mph (33 km/h). The current battery level is also displayed on the Multi-Function Display and is clearly visible at a glance.
