GLOBAL SUCCESS FOR THE “X” BRAND WITH ALL 30 UNITS OF THE APRILIA RSV4 X-GP SOLD IN RECORD TIME
Just fourteen days. That’s all it took for the Aprilia RSV4 X-GP to be entirely sold out, with all 30 units gone in record time. It is a testament to the excellence of the “X” brand and the success of the RSV4 X-GP, the limited-edition bike born out of the Noale Racing Department to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the RS-GP’s MotoGP debut.
Introduced at the Catalunya Grand Prix, the RSV4 X-GP won over enthusiasts from all around the world: Europe, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Malaysia, and the United States. This is further confirmation of the “X” brand’s international popularity and growing appeal, as it has become a point of reference for those seeking exclusivity, innovation, and pure performance.
The booking requests had vastly exceeded the number of bikes available already during the weekend of its presentation in Barcelona, as a testament to the extraordinary appeal of this unique project which, from 2019 with the presentation of the RSV4 X, has redefined the world of factory derivative bikes.
The media response was also exceptional: the RSV4 X-GP obtained broad coverage on social media and in the international press, generating a high number of publications and interactions from all over the world.
The RSV4 X-GP, the limited-edition bike from the Noale Racing Department with the official MotoGP Team livery, was created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the RS-GP’s debut in the premier category. It is the first factory derivative bike in the world to introduce leg and tail wings, aerodynamic solutions that can only be found on the RS-GP prototype which races in the FIM World Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing Championship. The maximum expression of technology developed in Noale, the RSV4 X-GP also boasts the brand-new feature of the structural carbon seat support and it is the most powerful RSV4 ever built, with 238 HP for just 165 Kg of weight, which is a weight/power ratio that returns an unprecedented riding experience. – MASSIMO RIVOLA, CEO APRILIA RACING

AERODYNAMICS
The RSV4 X-G is an aerodynamic masterpiece, its design directly derived from the RS-GP25. For the first time ever on a production-based motorcycle, it introduces leg wings and tail wings, technologies developed and patented exclusively by Aprilia Racing and seen only a few months ago on the RS-GP25. These innovations add significant downforce during braking and cornering. Completing the aero package are a uniquely shaped front wing, an under wing, and cornering wings.
Equipped with ground-effect aerodynamics, also patented by Aprilia Racing, the RSV4 X-GP features side fairings designed to reduce air pressure between the bike and the asphalt while leaned over, generating downforce that presses the bike firmly to the ground.
The entire fairing is made of carbon fiber by PAN Compositi, using the same processes employed in MotoGP. This construction increases vertical load by five times on the straight, enhancing stability and precision while reducing wheelies, and triples the load in corners, ensuring exceptional grip and feedback.
STRUCTURE
Another feature taken straight from MotoGP prototypes is the structural carbon-fiber seat support, also crafted by PAN Compositi. It integrates structural, aerodynamic, and design functions in a single element. An additional refinement is the sandwich carbon layup, a special layering technique designed to maximize lightness while preserving rigidity.
This increases rear-tyre feedback, giving the rider a more direct connection to the bike’s behavior.
EXCLUSIVE FEATURES
Enhancing the package are the twin-outlet SC Project exhaust in full MotoGP style, designed to maximize performance and deliver a true racing sound, and a special livery inspired by the RS-GP25, a tribute to Aprilia Racing’s latest MotoGP evolution.
Ten years after our return to MotoGP, we wanted to celebrate with a truly special X – one that recalls MotoGP as much as possible and transfers the essence of the RS-GP25 onto a production-derived bike. The RSV4 X-GP is unique, beautiful, and captivating, capable of delivering those very special sensations usually reserved for professional riders, but still perceptible by passionate amateurs. A product for the few, embodying all of Aprilia Racing’s passion, technology, and craftsmanship. – Massimo Rivola, Aprilia Racing CEO
ENGINE
The RSV4 X-GP is a true MotoGP-style racing machine. Its legendary 65° V4 engine, 1,099 cc with SBK racing specifications, has been tuned by Aprilia Racing’s engineers to produce a staggering 238 hp at 13,750 rpm (revving up to 14,100 rpm) and 131 Nm of torque at 11,750 rpm. These figures are achieved through dedicated tuning, including a higher compression ratio, a Sprint Filter high-permeability racing air filter, dedicated intake trumpets, and a titanium SC Project exhaust system with twin pipes and compensator, along with an STM dry clutch.
ELECTRONICS
All active electronic systems are managed by the APX ECU developed by Aprilia Racing, the latest evolution of the same unit that powered RSV4 to WorldSBK titles with Max Biaggi.
This ECU uses racing-level strategies identical to those deployed in competition, with fully customizable parameters to suit riding style and track conditions. It also features complete data acquisition for performance analysis.
The APX system manages wheelie control, traction control, engine braking, and power delivery, gear by gear. A built-in GPS module is also included. Each RSV4 X-GP comes with a dedicated Yashi laptop preloaded with the software for ECU management and fine-tuning.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Every detail of the RSV4 X-GP bears Aprilia Racing’s racing DNA: carbon-fiber mudguards, Jetprime racing switchgear, Spider adjustable rearsets, clutch lever, fuel cap, engine case and brake lever guards, all machined from billet aluminium. The steering plate is CNC-machined and individually numbered.
Cooling is optimized with oversized WSBK-derived radiators, while the final drive features a titanium sprocket, lightweight PBR front sprocket, and an RK 520 racing chain.
CHASSIS
The celebrated aluminium dual-beam frame, a hallmark of Aprilia’s chassis expertise, is enhanced with Öhlins mechanical suspension featuring a dedicated setup. At the front, a pressurized Öhlins fork is paired with a Brembo braking system: radial 19×16 master cylinder, monobloc GP4 MS calipers, Z04 racing pads, and 330 mm T Drive discs. At the rear, braking is handled by a caliper with a nickel-plated finish.
The RSV4 X-GP rides on forged magnesium Marchesini wheels, shod with Pirelli Superbike slicks (SC-1 front 125/70, SC-X rear 200/65) – the very same tyres used in WorldSBK.
AVAILABILITY AND PRICE
Only 30 units of the RSV4 X-GP will be produced, priced at €90,000 + VAT for the European market. Orders open online in September.
Each customer will also receive:

With the RSV4 X-GP we wanted to take another step forward, putting the most advanced technology directly into our customers’ hands. Our engineers have created something that goes beyond an evolution of the extraordinary X project: a motorcycle born directly from MotoGP DNA. This is proven by innovations such as the leg and tail wings from the RS-GP25, the structural carbon-fiber seat support, and an exceptional power-to-weight ratio. Many components, both visible and hidden, are either new or optimized to guarantee performance and a riding experience aligned with the highest standards of motorsport. – Fabiano Sterlacchini, Technical Director Aprilia Racing
