Highlights for high performers
Ahead of you: Your next destination – well illuminated with the iconic LED matrix headlight. Behind you: Milestones. And the short Monocoque rear with excellent individualization potential. There’s no doubt about it: You are driving the top model of the range of great BMW Adventure motorcycles. Explore the comprehensive standard equipment:

Guiding light: LED matrix headlight
A clear break from tradition in the design: the new symmetrical light icon. The high-beam and low-beam headlights are integrated in a single projector unit. The turn indicator is integrated into the hand protector.

Greater riding stability: EVO Paralever
The latest generation of the Paralever, the BMW Motorrad EVO Paralever, provides outstanding riding stability and impressive handling.

As multifunctional as possible: the frame concept
Designed for the most enjoyable riding experience. Your R 1300 GS is a cleverly arranged package with highly concentrated components. The main and rear frames offer countless individualization options.

Riding comfort: Adjustable windscreen
The standard sport windscreen has a light and dynamic appearance and provides an excellent view of the road. It can be easily adjusted for variable wind and weather protection.

Nice and short: the rear
The short, steeply inclined rear offers numerous individualization options. It comes with the slim, sporty passenger seat as standard. Together with the functional sport grab handle bridge, it can be turned into a real visual highlight, and offers plenty of seating comfort for passengers.

Excellent handling: EVO Telelever
Precision, riding stability, enthusiasm. The new BMW EVO Telelever creates a feeling of transparency for the front wheel and a unique riding experience.

Distinctive sound: the exhaust system
The single-pipe exhaust system that is installed as standard generates an unmistakable boxer sound and drives you to keep on riding.

Extra dynamic: the GS Flyline
The dynamic GS Flyline accentuates the clear lines – from the front-wheel cover, to the vehicle cockpit, the tank, the seat, right up to the rear. The flat tank platform ensures outstanding ergonomics on short and long-distance journeys.

Reach the next level
Everything is designed with your needs in mind: next-level driving comfort. The innovative Telelever bearing offers excellent handling. The GS Flyline with an extra-flat tank seat line provides a new kind of freedom of movement, easy maneuvering, and a relaxed posture. The broad range of ergonomic options helps riders with varying needs to conquer any terrain. Thanks to the environmental sensor system of the optional Riding Assistant, you can see everything at a glance.

Condensed to the essence of the GS spirit
Time for new adventures. Thanks to Keyless Ride, you can simply climb on and start riding. You get comfortable on the standard rider’s seat with a variable seat height of 31.5” to 35”. You activate the turn indicator that is integrated into the hand protector and turn towards freedom. With every mile you ride, it becomes clearer to you: You are sitting on something truly unique. That’s how simple it can be – true greatness doesn’t have to mean bigger. There are no superfluous parts, everything is condensed to encapsulate the essence of GS: the pure joy of riding.

There are no obstacles
When you’re on the road, it’s up to you. Your job: dream bigger. My job: provide enough drive to make anything possible. The powerful 145 hp engine and the low vehicle weight give you the power you need. You can feel the impressive character of the latest generation of boxer in every speed range. Experience outstanding performance and impressive control while running even more smoothly at lower speeds.

3 year warranty
Ride on & on & on.

Get up to 3-years or 36,000 miles warranty on all new motorcycles.

Be unmistakable
The scaled-back design, the unique body, the light aluminum tank – everything works together in an efficient and well-integrated manner. The subframe made from cast aluminum serves as the basis for endless possibilities. Together with the main frame, the standard cast wheels and the powertrain in Avus Black provide a darker border to the lower section, contrasted against the lighter front section of the body. The small, compact front offers an excellent view of the road. There is a clear break from tradition in the design with the new symmetrical light icon – a distinctive face.

Dynamics package

The optional dynamics package allows you to exploit the full potential of the sporty vehicle. Thanks to the shift assistant Pro and the Pro riding modes, every ride can be a highlight in driving dynamics with individual configuration options. The sports brake and the electronic suspension (DSA) serve to ensure optimal handling.

Headlight Pro

The optional Headlight Pro impresses riders with an improved view and a fitting aesthetic. The driving lights, high-beam headlights and cornering light are designed as an LED matrix. They offer modern lighting functions. This allows riders to illuminate the road in a way that best suits the driving situation.

Expanded hand protection

The optional, expanded hand protection provides optimal protection against the wind and weather conditions for your hands and forearms. As such, you will not only enjoy a more comfortable ride, you will also be better protected against disruptive influences.

Luggage plate
Luggage can be lashed to the luggage plate made from impact-resistant plastic. The plate uses the attachment element for the passenger seat and is easy to secure. In combination with the Vario cases, this creates a wide and even load platform. It can carry a payload of 11 lbs, and 44 lbs of luggage can be secured to the sides.
