Introducing the 2026 Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650…

The Super Meteor 650 has been built on our enduring belief that people and journeys cannot be limited to hours or kilometers.

The Super Meteor 650 touts an archetype retro cruiser silhouette with a meaty 16-inch rear wheel and 19-inch front. With its striking, sloping lines that lead from the fuel tank to the low-slung seat, then back up to the passenger seat over the rear fender, the bike stands out while standing still. Built on a tubular steel frame that is visible throughout, the cruiser’s appeal is as exhilarating as it is timeless.

ROYAL ENFIELD CELEBRATES 125 YEARS OF PURE MOTORCYCLING AT EICMA 2025 WITH AN EXCITING NEW LINEUP THAT BLENDS TRADITION AND INNOVATION.

Royal Enfield, the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, is marking another monumental milestone in its storied journey as it celebrates 125 years of Pure Motorcycling. The brand’s EICMA showcase commemorates this landmark occasion by offering experts and enthusiasts a glimpse into its historical journey – and connecting this legendary past with its dynamic present and ambitious future.

Since 1901, Royal Enfield has created, nurtured and shaped motorcycling culture across the world – from Chennai to London, from Amazonian trails to the high passes of the Himalayas.

At EICMA in Milan – followed by Motoverse in Goa – Royal Enfield will officially kick off a year-long calendar of commemorative activities, signalling the beginning of a pivotal new chapter for the company.

Speaking at EICMA, Siddhartha Lal, Executive Chairman, Eicher Motors Ltd., said, “For 125 years, Royal Enfield has stood as an enduring symbol of authenticity, craftsmanship, and the pure joy of motorcycling. What began as a simple pursuit of building honest, beautiful motorcycles has evolved into a global culture that celebrates exploration, community, and self-expression. This incredible milestone is not just about looking back on our legacy, but looking ahead with clarity and conviction. At EICMA this year, we’re showcasing the full spectrum of what Royal Enfield stands for, from timeless design and intuitive engineering to bold, future-facing innovations that redefine what’s possible in motorcycling. The Electric Himalayan Testbed and Flying Flea city+ concept embody this evolution, blending our heritage with bold ideas for what lies ahead. As we look to the next 125 years, our mission remains the same, to build motorcycles with soul and make Pure Motorcycling accessible to riding enthusiasts around the world.”
Bringing this story alive at EICMA, Royal Enfield unveiled a slew of new motorcycles, offered a peek into some soon-to-be-launched models and platforms, and showcased special edition variants of some community favourites.

Adding, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director – Eicher Motors Ltd., and Chief Executive Officer – Royal Enfield, said, “EICMA 2025 is as much a celebration of our 125-year heritage as it is a showcase of our evolution. The motorcycles unveiled here represent our commitment to timeless design, purposeful innovation, and the spirit of Pure Motorcycling. We are honoring our heritage by unveiling the Classic 650 125th Anniversary Special Edition, a seamless blend of legacy and modern innovation. Simultaneously, we strengthen our core segments with the purpose-built Himalayan Mana Black Edition and the Bullet 650, which breathes new life into an icon that has defined generations. Solidifying our electric future, we are expanding the Flying Flea portfolio with the FF.S6, preparing for a launch in 2026. Looking forward, we will keep propagating the Royal Enfield DNA, offering riders around the world a blend of authenticity, innovation, and Pure Motorcycling.”

As befits a brand steeped in tradition, the lineup of new launches is helmed by the majestic new Royal Enfield Bullet 650. The Bullet has long been the heartbeat of the brand, prized as an heirloom by generations of riders and enthusiasts. Over the past nine decades, the company has refined the pedigree of the world’s oldest motorcycle in continuous production, and in 2025, it finds its most powerful expression yet: the Bullet 650, the epitome of old school cool.

Also unveiled at the event was a special edition of the Royal Enfield Classic 650, reimagined to commemorate 125 years of Royal Enfield. This special edition blends the timeless silhouette of the Classic with a strikingly modern aesthetic, representing the Royal Enfield’s ethos of balancing tradition and innovation.

Showcasing a new version of its celebrated adventure motorcycle, Royal Enfield introduced the Himalayan Mana Black edition. Inspired by the formidable Mana Pass route, the Mana Black edition accentuates the rugged, spartan character of the Himalayan.

Royal Enfield also debuted a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Shotgun x Rough Crafts inspired by its OG custom-built motorcycle. This limited edition motorcycle is a unique fusion of Royal Enfield’s modern neo-retro design philosophy and Rough Crafts’ unmistakable signature aesthetic, celebrating the spirit of individuality, craftsmanship and creativity that defines the custom motorcycle culture.

Also making its debut at EICMA is Flying Flea’s new Scrambler-styled motorcycle – the FF.S6. Built for urban exploration, the FF.S6. sets new benchmarks of sophistication, versatility and agility in the global EV space.

648cc, 47PS, 52.3Nm OF TORQUE
At the core of the Super Meteor 650 is our iconic parallel twin engine, which offers seamless gear transitions, strong low-end acceleration and an effortless throttle response.

Already an international motorcycling success story, the Super Meteor 650 is Royal Enfield’s first proper cruiser to roll on American highways and byways.

The Super Meteor 650 is powered by the venerable 648cc fuel-injected, air/oil-cooled, twin-cylinder engine found on the popular INT 650 and Continental GT 650 Royal Enfield models. Capable of producing strong, low-end grunt and top-end cruising fun, the engine’s smooth power delivery provides an exciting and lively throttle response up and down the gearbox and through every twist and turn.

“The Super Meteor 650 punches above its class in the middleweight cruiser segment,” says Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer for Royal Enfield. “This motorcycle is an evolution of all our focus and efforts in the segment, and is a thoroughbred, retro cruiser in every sense.”

Royal Enfield’s Chief of Design, Mark Wells said, “The bike has confidence-inspiring stability, corners exquisitely, and feels planted at highway speeds. It is the ideal mid-segment bike that will not only turn heads, but put many more enthusiasts out on the roads to find the kind of enjoyment that pure cruising from Royal Enfield can offer.”

Created at the UK Technology Centre in conjunction with Harris Performance, the frame, and swingarm are entirely new and meet the design brief of a motorcycle with a low center of gravity for high-speed stability and easy maneuverability that is confidence-inspiring for all levels of rider.

Fabricated in steel with optimized forgings, investment castings, pressings, and extrusions, the chassis incorporates a new cylinder head mount for additional stiffness. Royal Enfield’s first upside down (USD) forks, with a 120mm stroke and premium rear shocks with 5-step preload and 101mm travel, perfectly complement the new frame, ensuring the Super Meteor is stable and rewarding to ride on highways and precise and engaging through the curves without being heavy to steer. The USD forks allow the motorcycle to maintain a controlled response throughout the range of suspension travel, and the big piston damping technology allows for a plush and planted ride.

The rider’s view and controls have received particular focus to ensure that the design, fit, and finish are class-leading. Its instrument cluster combines the timeless elegance of an analog speedometer with the functionality of an LCD for essentials such as revs, gear indicator, fuel gauge, clock, and trip meter.

Adjustable clutch and brake levers offer a smooth operation and a touch of retro finesse, while ergonomically designed barrel profile hand grips integrate the Royal Enfield logo. All-new plated aluminum switch cubes hold unique rotary switches, placing premium, chic design elements into the rider’s hands. Then there is Royal Enfield’s celebrated TBT (Turn-By-Turn) navigation pod, the Royal Enfield Tripper™. A first on any Indian-made motorcycle when introduced on the Meteor 350, this highly-focused tool, developed in collaboration with Google, links to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth. A discreet USB socket is located beneath the left side panel. Further attention-grabbing features on this cruiser are its LED headlamp, a first for Royal Enfield. It is carefully designed to deliver old-school charm but provides all the benefits of LED technology.

Available in three variants, Royal Enfield also offers the Super Meteor seven unique color options. The Astral and Interstellar variants focus on the cruising needs of the solo rider. Astral Green, Astral Black and Astral Blue deliver a simple yet unique color offering. The Interstellar variant offers a more premium, two-tone finish and is available in Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. The Celestial variant focuses more heavily on the touring rider, offering an OE-fitted deluxe touring seat, pillion backrest, and touring flyscreen, and is available in Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.

Like all Royal Enfield motorcycles, the Super Meteor 650 is supported by an extensive range of genuine motorcycle accessories that together complete a theme based on the rider’s preferences. These have been developed alongside the motorcycle to ensure a perfect fit. Rigorously tested in the field, Royal Enfield Genuine Motorcycle Accessories offer exceptional quality and a 3 year warranty that matches the motorcycle itself. A first edition launch kit is available at Royal Enfield dealers across the United States with the popular accessories like touring mirrors, compact engine guard kits, rider and passenger deluxe footpegs, billet oil cap cover, beautifully polished handlebar clamp with bar end finisher kit, full front and rear LED turn signals, and a Royal Enfield motorcycle cover. Whether riding solo, with a passenger, or in a group, the Super Meteor 650 from Royal Enfield outputs 122 years of motorcycle history into the ultimate expression of pure cruising.
