NEXTGEN TRIALS – Tennessee June 19th-21st The Next Gen MotoTrials Youth and Women’s Eastern Regional Championship returned to the legendary Trials Training Center in Tennessee two weekends ago, bringing together over 50 riders for three demanding days of competition. The weekend tested every facet of rider skill, progressing from slick, rain-soaked creek beds on Friday to highly technical rock sections on Saturday, and finishing with steep hillside climbs on Sunday. Beta Factory Trials riders performed well at the event, achieving strong results over the three-day competition. Bennett Hubner delivered a masterclass in consistency in the 15 & Under Expert Sportsman class. Facing shifting terrain and intense pressure during Saturday’s traditional shootout, Hubner maintained his composure to sweep the weekend. He posted elite scores across all three days (40, 38, and 36), expertly navigating technical lines that rewarded precision and throttle control. His ability to adapt to the slick creeks and rocky climbs perfectly showcased his talent. In the highly competitive Sportswoman division, Abigail Buzzelli came out swinging. She captured a decisive victory on Friday, dropping just 23 points in the challenging, wet conditions. The rest of the weekend saw a fierce back-and-forth battle. While Buzzeelli was narrowly edged out for the overall championship, her Friday win and consistent podium finishes throughout the weekend secured her a strong second-place overall finish. |
