Noale, 20 April 2026 – Jacopo Cerutti and the Aprilia Tuareg Racing Team delivered a historic
performance at the TT Rally Cup in Santiago de Compostela, Spain – the opening round of the
European Championship – securing not only victory in the M5 class but also overall victory. An
outstanding result for the team, which sealed its dominance with a one-two finish both in the
overall standings and in the M5 class thanks to Thomas Marini, with both riders consistently
on the podium in every stage and in both classifications.
Jacopo Cerutti secured three class wins (including the prologue) and two overall victories at
the end of the six stages, finishing on the podium in every stage contested and demonstrating
exceptional confidence and feeling with the Tuareg Rally.
Thomas Marini also put in a strong performance, showcasing impressive speed and
consistency. Marini finished second overall and second in the M5 class, securing three class
wins and two overall victories.
The final outcome for the Aprilia Tuareg Racing Team at the end of the opening round of the
TT Rally Cup is extremely positive: the Tuareg Rally has confirmed itself as a winning machine,
capable of delivering high performance and outstanding reliability in all conditions. The
dominance in Spain underlines the competitiveness of the Noale-built twin-cylinder and the
excellent work of Team Guareschi.
JACOPO CERUTTI
“It was a great and enjoyable race, I’m very happy. We were both fast; Thomas and I put
together a really strong performance. We often started one behind the other and, when we
caught up, we were able to keep a good pace together. The Tuareg Rally once again proved
to be very effective in these conditions, being reliable and consistently competitive. In fact, we
managed to stay ahead of our rivals, who were riding more specialized bikes”.
THOMAS MARINI
“This first round of the European Championship went very well. It was a long week, partly due
to the less-than-ideal weather conditions, but fortunately, from midweek the weather improved,
and the riding became more enjoyable. We managed to stay at the front on every day, both
Jacopo and me. The team did a great job. My feeling with the bike continues to improve, even
in challenging conditions like these”.
