Intuitive handling, tons of torque, and technology that makes a difference. That’s the Buell formula for the ultimate sportfighter-the Buell Firebolt XB9R, a motorcycle inspired by the racetrack but ready for the real world.

-All new fuel injected, 984 cc, 45-degree V-twin that delivers gargantuan torque over a wide RPM range. Short stroke configuration that allows a redline all the way up to 7500 RPM.
-New internal shifting mechanism for smoother shifting operation
-Frame as fuel tank – keeps the weight lower on the bike for improved handling
-Lightweight, multifunctional aluminum frame – its massive size and super rigid quality make for a tight ride, great responsiveness and flickability
-Swingarm as oil reservoir – allows for tight packaging and lower center of gravity
-Innovative Belt Drive that features an additional idler pulley, ensuring a constant path throughout the length of the belt – there is no lash in the transmission.
-Shortest wheelbase in the industry, 52 inches
-21-degree fork angle
-New ZTL (Zero Torsional Load) front brake system, composed of a giant 375mm inside-out brake rotor and a 6 piston caliper. This system both maximizes the stopping power and dramatically reduces unsprung weight.
-Optimized intake and exhaust for maximum mid-range torque
-Inverted fork
-Unique wheel technology providing low unsprung weight and great styling
-Lightweight Magnesium multifunctional front module
-Mass centralized muffler – the weight of the exhaust system remains as low and near the center of the bike as possible, resulting in intuitive responsiveness and handling
-New fan cooling system, Ram Air duty and larger cylinder head fins for superior engine cooling and improved performance.
