2004 Kawasaki KX85 Review

2004 Kawasaki KX85

A proven winner.

Kawasaki has the enviable reputation of nurturing future motocross champions from their earliest riding days to the winner’s podium at National Motocross and Supercross events. Long before other brands got into the act, Kawasaki was building motocross bikes for every stage of a growing racer’s career and backing young champions with Team Green racing support.

The KX85 provides plenty of power, thanks to its liquid-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder 84cc engine. It’s equipped with high-tech features, such as an Electrofusion-coated cylinder with a narrow squish band and large volume to enhance top-end power. A machined finish to the bridges between the intake and exhaust ports helps prevent seizure and improves engine reliability.

The 2004 Kawasaki KX85 competition model is the perfect bike for the young racer who is ready to step up from the KX65 to something a little larger.
