FZ1 – Real World High Performance

For 2006 , the world’s best streetfighter is all new, blending exceptional style and character with open class performance like only Yamaha can.

A current generation fuel injected R1 engine, tuned for the real world sits low and forwarding an all new aluminum frame with a longer CF die cast swingarm. The new FZ1 is a more focused, more aggressive, more intensely high performance motorcycle in a smaller, tighter , meaner package.

The FZ1 is not intended for novice or inexperienced riders.

C.F. die cast swingarm is 45mm longer than last year

Fuel injection with motor-driven secondary throttle valves

Four into one exhaust system with EXUP

43mm inverted forks with left leg compression damping adjustment and right leg rebound damping adjustment

Dual 320mm front discs squeezed by 4-piston calipers
