Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona were the stars of the show on Sunday at Aragon.
The Superpole Race was thrilling and ended with a victory for the Italian rider following a fine battle with his team-mate.
In Race 2, Bulega defended his lead from the start. Lecuona gradually closed the gap from lap 13 onwards, but it wasn’t enough to secure his first WorldSBK victory.

“I’m very happy. It’s been a fantastic weekend during which we set the track record in Superpole and also in the race. And it wasn’t easy because with such high temperatures, it was easy to make a mistake. That’s why I’d like to thank the team for putting me in a position where I could give my all.”
Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #7)
“I can’t help but be happy with this weekend. Obviously, winning a race is our primary goal, but the progress we’re making session by session is part of this journey. We had some great battles today and I enjoyed myself. We need to keep going like this, working to find what we’re missing”.
