BMW GROUP UPDATES GUIDANCE FOR THE 2026 FINANCIAL YEAR

• Automotive segment outlook adjusted due to non-operational effects in Q4
• Expansion and intensification of portfolio and structural measures
• Successful ramp-up of the Neue Klasse enables the gradual phase-out of previous vehicle and technology generations
• Accelerated implementation of organizational realignment

The Board of Management of BMW AG updated today the full year guidance for the 2026 financial year. This follows the Board’s decision to expand and intensify portfolio and structural measures. While operating financial performance remained solid in the third quarter, the measures approved will result in a non-operating impact on earnings in the Automotive segment in the fourth quarter.

The following financial KPIs in the outlook for the 2026 financial year were changed as outlined here:

• EBIT Margin Segment Automotive: in the corridor -0.5% to +0.5% (before: in the corridor of 1-3%); the EBIT margin before structural and portfolio measures continues to be expected above 2.0%.

• RoCE Segment Automotive: in the corridor -1% to +1% (before: in the corridor of 1-5%).

The company’s stable operating performance is underscored by the unchanged expectation for Free Cashflow in the Automotive segment: The BMW Group maintains the expectation that the Automotive Free Cashflow will be above €2.5 billion in 2026.

Furthermore, the Board of Management of BMW AG changed the following KPIs in the full year guidance as outlined here:

• Deliveries in Segment Automotive: moderate decrease versus previous year (before: slight decrease).

• Share of all-electric cars in deliveries in Segment Automobile: slight increase versus previous year (before: at previous year’s level).

• CO2e emissions scope 3 supply chain and use phase in Segment Automobile: slight decrease versus previous year (before: at previous year’s level).

• Deliveries in Segment Motorcycles: slight decrease versus previous year (before: at previous year’s level).

The portfolio measures stem from the sustained high demand for Neue Klasse models, to which the BMW Group has responded by introducing additional production shifts at an early stage. The resulting acceleration of the production ramp-up creates an opportunity to begin phasing out previous vehicle and technology generations earlier, including selected models based on Gen5 battery technology.

With its technology clusters, such as Gen6 technology, the Neue Klasse will contribute to improving the company’s profitability in the coming years by its high level of innovation and enhanced cost efficiency.

At the same time, the company intends to leverage the momentum generated by its workforce restructuring program to expand its organizational and process realignment more quickly and comprehensively. For example, the reduction in management functions will be implemented faster than announced.

Details are provided in the Q3 Report, which will be published on 4th November 2026. The definitions of the KPIs can be found in the Glossary of the BMW Group Report 2025 on pages 429 to 431.
