After a dominating 2017 race season, the Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing team is back to defend the MotoAmerica Superbike #1 plate with newly crowned champion Toni Elias and championship runner-up Roger Hayden. Aboard the championship winning Suzuki GSX-R1000, the team brings dominating momentum to AMA Superbike. No other motorcycle comes close to the number of championships, overall race victories or pole position records held by the GSX-R pedigree.
MotoAmerica is bringing more to the racetracks in 2018, including big screens, more family-oriented events and more places for fans to gather together. For the coming season, the majority of the MotoAmerica events will feature DJs, expert analogy of the racing action from the paddock, expanded meet and greets with the riders and teams, expo events and better shopping opportunities for fans of the series.
The 2018 season will also feature top-notch musical artists performing on the MotoAmerica Main Stage on the Saturday evenings at three marquee events starting at the Suzuki Championship at Road Atlanta on April 13-15, 2018.
