2020 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO: SPORTY ATTITUDE.

Introducing the 2020 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO.

Even more fun and high performance, featuring an original design, the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO and 1100 Sport PRO are the ideal choice for those who want to ride a motorcycle with a 1079 cm³ engine with generous torque right from the bottom of the rev range, a 15-litre steel tank that, combined with the comfortable seat with the new coating, ensure even the longest rides are enjoyed in comfort.

The fun is guaranteed on the new Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO and Sport PRO, thanks to their iconic style and sense of freedom, together with agility and safety. Created for those who love to ride motorcycles even outside the city, perhaps also with a passenger, these new models are a further declination of the bike that identifies the Ducati Scrambler “Land Of Joy”.

2020 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO Totalmotorcycle.com Key Features

Attractive and contemporary. Enjoyable and comfortable. As cool as pair of sunglasses under Florida sunset. The new Scrambler 1100 brings you into the Land of Joy with a self-confident spirit.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO stands out for its new two-tone “Ocean Drive” color scheme, combined with a steel Trellis frame and rear aluminum subframe, both black. The aluminum covers are also black. A new right-side dual tailpipe and low-slung plate holder ensure distinctive rear-end styling and, together with the new livery, give the bike a coiled, compact look. Another hallmark is the framed headlight; inspired by the protective adhesive tape used back in the ‘70s, a black metal “X” has been incorporated inside the headlight: a detail that makes the bike instantly identifiable, even with the lights off.

2020 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO Totalmotorcycle.com Features and Benefits

Everything you always wanted in Scrambler
For who have chosen to live their lives and their passions with no cons.

Ducati Traction Control
DTC is the electronic system of active security that measures and controls the rear wheel’s slip. The traction control is adjustable on 4 levels and disconnectable.

Bosch Cornering ABS
Bosch Cornering ABS can identify to what extent the bike is leaning and regulate the pressure of the braking system, preventing any crash caused by the locking of the front of the bike.

Three Riding Modes
For adapting the bike’s riding behaviour to all kinds of roads and rider’s styles. Active, for full engine power; Journey, for appropriate throttle responses; City, for the smoothest power delivery.

Iconic style
Equipped with low handlebars and Café Racer-style rear-view mirrors. Available in “Matt Black” color. The 1100 logo is painted on the interchangeable cheeks.

Öhlins
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with Öhlins suspension. Specifically a 45 mm diameter upside-down fork and a rear shock absorber with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. Both allow 150 mm wheel travel to cover all types of terrain, from city obstacles to those that can be encountered on soft offroad tracks. This mix of comfort and performance confirms the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO’s multi-purpose attitude, with the aim of adapting to the riding style of the rider.

Full of technology
With the electronic management system Ride by Wire and the inertial platform, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO offers high standards of active safety and performance always within everyone’s reach and for every type of use thanks to the three Riding Modes. The Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC).

Engine
The engine of the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is an air-and oil-cooled, 1079 cm³, two-valve L-twin engine with EURO 5 approval. It has a bore of 98 mm and a stroke of 71.5 mm and favours smooth acceleration at all rpm and ease of handling. The Desmodue engine of the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO has lightweight crankcases and machined aluminium clutch and alternator covers. The two belt covers are also made of aluminium and they are also machined to enhance the aesthetics.

Riding comfort
With tubular steel trellis frame with double top beam. Essential, like the Scrambler, it embraces the engine and is completed by an aluminium rear frame. It guarantees great agility in traffic as much as between hairpin bends in the mountains. Thanks to the wide handlebar, moving between urban obstacles is child’s play with the Scrambler, while the 1,514 mm wheelbase maximises stability, even at high speeds. The frame and cycling heights allow for a relaxed, easy yet fun ride, while a lower handlebar provides a sportier riding position.

Brembo braking system
The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is equipped with a Brembo braking system with ABS Cornering, which guarantees safety in all types of corners. At the front, a 320 mm diameter double disc has been fitted to two Brembo M 4.32B monobloc four-piston calipers with radial connection. At the rear there is a 245 mm disc on which a 34 mm single-piston caliper works. The ABS system has only one level of intervention and is not switchable.

Innovative lighting
The light guide along the outer circumference, powered by an LED source that acts as a position light, is a DRL (Daytime Running Light), which allows the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO to be easily recognizable even during the day. Taking inspiration from the tape that was applied to the headlights in the 1970s to preserve the light cluster, a black metal “X” was recreated inside the headlight. At the rear, the optical group is of the full LED type with a diffusion effect and uses a technology that is unique in the world of two wheels.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO is the beefiest version in the Scrambler family. It features all the styling details of the PRO, but also a unique equipment set with Öhlins suspension, low-slung handlebars and Café Racer rear-view mirrors. The 1100 Sport PRO also features a matte black color scheme, complemented by side panels sporting a painted 1100 logo.

The Ducati Scramblers 1100 PRO are also at the forefront of electronics. They are equipped with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), regulated specifically for these models, and ABS Cornering, which ensure safety on every bend. The three standard Riding Modes (Active, Journey and City) help even less experienced riders to find the right balance in the use of electronic components by choosing their riding style.

Ducati Scrambler 1100 PRO and Sport PRO will be available from the end of March 2020 (country specific).
