THE ORIGINAL BRITISH SUPERBIKE

Named to celebrate the 1956 motorcycle land speed record smashing Triumph streamliner and built to deliver class leading performance, adding twin carbs to the snarling Tiger 110, the 59 Bonneville was born. A race winner straight out of the crate, Bonneville was there at the birth of modern motorsport, winning AMA Flat Track races, the Isle of Man TT, the International Six Day Trials and countless Thruxton 500 races, where it got its legendary racing name. Lusted after by a generation of 60’s teenage rockers it was first choice for famous bikers including the iconic movie star Steve McQueen.

BONNEVILLE ENGINE FAMILY

A new generation Bonneville engine family built specifically for the modern classic riding style, with more torque, more immediate and exciting power delivery and a richer sound you can really feel and hear. With three new engines – the 900cc high torque engine of the new Street Twin and Street Cup and Bonneville T100 and T100 Black – delivering 18% more peak torque than the previous generation, the 1200cc high torque engine of the Bonneville T120 and T120 Black with over 54% more torque, and the game changing 1200cc high power ‘Thruxton spec’ engine which punches out over 62% more than torque the previous Thruxton 900.

All with truly modern capability, including ride-by-wire, for sharper responsiveness and liquid cooling for amazing fuel economy, 36% improvement on the Bonneville T100 alone.
